Quick results for MDR1 test.
I sent in a saliva swab to test my sheltie for the MDR1 gene. Paw Print was quick to get the results to me, which helped to lessen my worry time. I will definitely recommend them to my friends.

Test results 2 weeks ahead of schedule!
I got the results of the work I ordered today! I had a MDR-1 test done And I needed a DNA profiling certificate. The test was ordered August 26 and I got the results today, September 14. I appreciate getting these results so quickly. Thank you!

I only gave 3 stars because we sent in…
I only gave 3 stars because we sent in our sample to be tested and waited the full time to get the results to then be told the sample wasn't viable we needed to do another one. It took a long time to get our results. I feel like they would have known sooner the sample wasn't viable. Thank you!

Thank you for your review. Sometimes we can tell when we extract the DNA that we don't have enough sample to complete testing. But other times, we have enough DNA but the results are not reliable, indicating that the sample was perhaps compromised in some fashion. Because we test your samples twice for every test that you order, we get two results. Those two results (genotypes) must match before we can report your results. If they do not match, which is not discovered until the end of the process, then we may reach out for a new sample because, again, this may indicate some sort of contamination of the sample prior to DNA extraction. Because we know that you use this testing information to make important breeding decisions, we are cautious and will request a new sample in these situations. It is important that you can rely on your results to make these decisions. Our high standards is why most breeders choose Paw Print Genetics. Thank you for your understanding.
