Very thorough
Very calm and exact with what to do and look for. I on the other hand was a basket case. We looked at vitals, gums, swelling, bleeding etc. It was determined that due to swelling not increasing, bleeding had slowed down and stopped after I bathed the wounds, gums pink and not grey or white, and breathing good that I didn’t need to go to ER with my dog after a snake bite. I’ll follow up with my vet tomorrow to check and plan to monitor throughout the night for any new symptoms like bad gum color or panted breathing

Snake bites are terrifying, and walking someone through that step by step takes real focus. We're glad the assessment gave you a clear picture and helped you avoid an unnecessary ER trip. Give your pup some extra love tonight, and good thinking following up with your vet tomorrow.
