If you're the kind of person that needs constant feedback and needs one-on-one coaching when it comes to your animal this app will be for you. However one of the most important parts of pet care is being able to see event for shots and upkeep and such and this app does not help with any of those the $3,000 emergency fund is only for a life threatening emergency that they decide so personally I'd have to say this app's not for me I don't need constant coaching or constant questions about how to take care of my pet but for those of you do this apps for you

2nd time of use and like regular doctors they prescribe anything and everything

I want to first say that the 2 Veterinarians that I spoke with were great. That is why I am giving a 3 star rate. It was the first time that I used Pawp for my sweet girl Luna. However, I felt I was experiencing an emergency with my girl. She was not her normal self. She had gotten into something that was toxic to her and was having a bad reaction. She was lethargic, had tremors, and could not hold herself steady. She was definitely struggling and not doing well at the time. It was a horrible night, for I was told by both veterinarians to wait till morning. That they could not authorize the funds in order to take her to the hospital. I was also told that I could take her, however, there was no assurance that Pawp would help with any payment towards the possible bill. I want to add that my girl did make it. But I also figured out that emergency in the Pawp environment is limited. It says it can be used in an emergency and to me, Luna was experiencing an emergency. I needed a doctor to evaluate her and at least let me know she was not having a stroke, aneurysm, or something that could have taken her life. I will be looking into another form of insurance for both my girls in case of an emergency. Once again I will say it was not the Veterinarians that I spoke with, they were fantastic. It's the Pawp policy of what is considered an emergency to me that is the issue. I need to have peace of mind. I feel with Pawp my girls are not in good hands at all. I am guessing it takes getting hit by a car or worse to be considered an emergency. To me, that is not enough. Our pets are like children, they can get into anything. No matter how much we oversee them and are overprotective of them.

Was a bit disappointed with response to call was for me to call poison control WHO quickly stated for me to call the vet. I handled the upset myself. I was terrifed my puppy needed help....i managed well using my old nuring skills....gave him an ounce of antiacid. ...prayed . We both survived. Praying my membership will be worth while for me and my 3 babies .

My 5yr old Rottweiler Harli had blood in urine and the Vet tech answered after about 6 min and asked a few questions and recommended I take her in to my vet for a check up. I was really worried and it was nice to have someone there to discuss her symptoms. I was very worried.

Didn't really help me. The service gives you close access to vets, but in my situation they were not helpful. I'm sure others might find it useful. I felt my dog was being over-medicated by his vet. When I contacted the vets on pawp for assistance they all told me to keep him on the vets recommended dosage. I should have followed my intuition, he never liked medications, even pain pills like galiprant gave him diarrhea, my best friend ended up passing away this past Friday.. Initially, when I contacted his vet about my concerns, they gave me another medication to make sure he was holding down the other medications.. I think the whole quality of life argument and prescribing medications to bring a rapid, painless, end to a dogs life is bs.
