Avoided all cost

1/5 — Deceptive subscription practices I signed up for what I believed was a one-off trial offer. What I was NOT made aware of was that this would automatically convert into an ongoing semiannual subscription charging me over $170 AUD every six months. I never used the service. Not once. Yet they continued charging my card without any clear warning or reminder that a renewal was coming. When I contacted them for a refund, instead of doing the right thing, they pointed me to their "Money Back Guarantee" fine print to justify keeping my money. This is a classic dark pattern — bury the subscription terms, hope you don't notice, and make it hard to get your money back when you do. If you are considering signing up for a "trial" with PawChamp, please be very careful. What looks like a one-time fee is actually the start of an automatic recurring subscription that is very hard to get out of. I have since disputed the charge with my bank. Avoid this company.
