I would give them 0 stars if possible specifically for the fact that SONIA decided to make my account to only being able to make deposits and withdraws and IN BRANCH ONLY and that that’s all I would be allowed to do with my account and nothing else permanently all because of a failed $10 deposit I didn’t even have the account for a week I was planning to have my direct deposit switched but thank god I didn’t Sonia just showed they can care less about a customer who was new not even a week in that based off this failed $10 deposit their going to permanently restrict my account to the most basic things ever

Ive had two loans with them so far, so far there percentage rates were pretty competitive but one problem I dont like is there horrible loan department especially for car loans. They were rude to me multiple times , confusing me, and it like they didnt want to do business with me despite my good credit. I wish i had this young ladies name so i can shout her out, but besides that they value your used car past the cars sale price that you want to buy making loans even more frustrating, there transfer speed of money is like from the early 2000s, 3 business days for money transfers, zelle is useless with them and just overall I feel they hate their clients. Another thing i want to mention please ask as much questions to them and have them read the contract to you on anything they give as a loan so no surprises, also patelco if your reading this I thank you for working with me but you guys need to expand to SoCal and please get better customer service.

I'd be very careful with this company. They claimed that they mailed a refund check to me, but they didn't. They didn't have a tracking number or anything. Yet, they can see that the check has not been cashed. To correct this, they want me to get something notarized which will not even be worth the money they owe me. Not an honest company. You have been warned. I am sure the money owed to me is going into their pockets.

I joined Patelco before the pandemic having switched from San Francisco Federal Credit Union. I am happy to say I am a very satisfied/happy member. I have never had any discrepancies with my account and on the occasion when my account was compromised, I felt as though Patelco had my back. I love the fact that there are no fees, and my questions are promptly responded to.

Their IT system is AWFUL. I am in the process of moving to TechCU (who provides international wire transfers, PATELCO do NOT) and I have been trying for a week to set up TechCU as a transferee. Every time it fails with a message "Oh no, that didn't work. Try again later". So I tried repeatedly to set it up manually. Same result. I called their Online Banking Support and they were USELESS. Avoid these incompetents.!!

Was a member since late 1980. Just closed my account. IT department has suffered from incompetent technical personnel and poor management the last decade. Latest incident confirms this.

Patelco has gone a full 24 hours with no communication about what is happening to them. They are sending canned responses and have not sent out emails to the members. People are finding out because of social media. What happened to the best bank ever? The problem is it's still a bank.

I have been banking with Patelco for more than two decades and they have never done me wrong! I use to back with Wells Fargo, but they ended up costing me big time. Patelco not only has great rates, their staff in the branches and on the phone are great. They have been really good about keeping my accounts secure as well. I love working with them!
