Well no one else has the money to purchase it and now this joke of a bank is saying my account is under review to assure I am using it according to the service agreement” an agreement to which I was never provided a copy nor have I ever verbally or by writing agreed too” so while recording my conversation with them I spoke to a representative who was very nice who informed me that they could and most likely would cut me a check right now. The only problem with this being that it will take to long. So I was advised that the supervisor was the only one with the authority to refund the money the same way it was received. So the second person whom I spoke to who’s first language obviously 🙄 want English got in and in so many words proceeded to tell me that the review would not take more than 24-48 hours. At that time I informed him that it had been 48 hours he then stated that per their user agreement I had agreed to this review. So I said I would like to you to read me this agreement please. He responded it’s on our website. To which I said I am illiterate so would you please read it to me. To which he had the nerve to laugh and say I guess you better find someone to read it to you. About this time tears of anger are streaming down my face so I asked simply for his first name and identification number or whatever the means of identifying him to his company is. Again he refused to comply and at the end of the conversation I again informed him that both him and his colleague had been recorded and I wanted to clarify for the proposes of reporting their institution to the fdic and the office of the comptroller of the United States that he would not provide me a reason for the freeze on my account other than to verify it was solely passbook who was doing so. Not only was I denied access to my funds I was denied access to the information about my funds. And while no withdrawals were permitted they will gladly accept deposits still. I verified he refused to read me the user agreement for the account and verified they do not have me consenting to this agreement either verbally nor by writing and finally that he understood I cannot read and do not have anyone to read it to me and that he refused to give me even his first name or any type of identification or way to report him nor word he connect me to another person that I could talk to. I made sure he knew the purpose of my call was to file a complaint with the fdic because they were refusing me access to money that was insured and guaranteed by the FDIC AT WHICH TIME HE HUNG UP. So while I know there are people for whatever reason cannot open an account I urge you do not use this fake company because I’m a 60 something great grandmother who is a legal us citizen and am being treated like that if you are illegal or undocumented or whatever just imagine how they will treat you. And I am in the process of filing complaints every ever that will accept one.
