The program was fantastic. I honestly learned more in four months through this program than I did over four years of medical school. The Pass Program taught medicine conceptually rather than encourage rote memorization that medical school professors often did. This is because faculty at medical schools are not always hired solely due to their excellent teaching ability. But the PASS digital lectures by the original instructor that I watched and rewatched over and over again are the best taught medical lectures that I have ever viewed. I failed my Step 3 twice by less than a point and PASS ensured that I pass on my third attempt in the 90th percentile and also breezed throught my board certification exams soon after as well.

PASS program was very helpful and critical to my success in taking USMLE STEP1 exam! The willingness to answer questions and constant guidance allowed me to understand concepts clearly. The test taking technique created by Dr. Francis is a great algorithm that will help us now and in future tests as well. The people at PASS program are well versed in what they do, and they do it with a positive and cheerful attitude. I had a great experience attending this program and highly recommend it!

My experience at the PASS program was unlike any other learning experience I have had in my entire higher-ed path. Dr. Francis is the most humble, giving, and energetic person I have ever met. He would keep me engaged, even when I was exhausted and checked out for the day. No other professor has ever taught me the way he did and I cannot thank him enough for the knowledge and confidence that he instilled in me. I highly recommend everyone to attend the PASS Program with Dr. Francis if you want to actually learn rather than memorize how to be a doctor.

The PASS Program is EVERYTHING... a true BLESSING!!! I felt extremely isolated entering my dedicated STEP 1 period with not much direction. The advice from my school didn’t fit my learning style and I really struggled with test taking. Not only did Dr. Francis teach me “the normal” in a way that I could digest, he also gave me a confidence boost in my abilities as far as test taking skills and as a medical student in general. Because of the PASS Program, medicine actually makes sense and I’m understanding physiology instead of trying to memorize First Aid. The tutors are also phenomenal! Because of the PASS program, I CAN!!! I will be back for STEP 2!! :)

Dr. Francis is a dynamic, expert and compassionate teacher committed to the success of even the most hopeless student. Pass program ensures you will be transformed due to the organization of your medical knowledge and set on a firm foundation by mastering normal physiology . The product of this course are competent who can think, not just practice pacient management. I dont recommend the on demand videos, they are not nearly as interactive or dynamic as the live classroom. In the online course you still may wish you were getting the attention of the students in the classroom, but pass program is proactive providing support for online students by way of follow up and watching over your progress. They call you up. This course is a GIFT to the medical community at large and certainly to any student looking for support to prepare for their exams.

I am learning so much and finally beginning to understand the why of what I was taught before and my scores are increasing the more and more I review the material!!! Thank you Dr. Francis and staff for being encouraging and always pleasant and giving me the back the desire and love for medicine again!

The program was amazing had a good experience overall preparing for my step 2, I could not have concentrated with that kind of an intensity at home, the intensive preparation and friendly support from mentors and friends I made there went a long way in keeping me motivated through the difficult times. The university town of Urbana-Champaign is a good place to focus on studies, winters are a little harsh though. but the ONE thing which helps the most are the morning questions which helps keep the subject fresh in memory. Thanks Dr Francis and team! looking forward to coming there again for my Step 3 once I match in the upcoming match. I only wish they had morning questions everyday online just like the on-site program.
