ParsecReviews of parsecgaming.com

Me and my friend tried using parsec for 3 hours. NEVER again. Most annoying program to use. Randomly gives errors, does NOT do it job most of the time. If any company is reading this, just copy this programs idea with good programmers and youll make fucktons of money. Sorry not sorry Parsec Thanks, bye

I tried a couple of services so far and I should tell that Parsec is the best. Setup (using dedicated server from Paperspace) may be a bit weird at first, but it's fine. I've been using it for a couple of months now (60-90 hours of gameplay), I rarely experience small lags and had no major problems so far. It works like a charm on Mac, it is fast to boot and very stable - it really feels like I'm playing on my own computer.

Simply don't bother, For gaming this service is pointless between the LAG and the poor visuals during gameplay a service that appears to good to be true really is. I have maybe managed to play 1 game at a reasonable speed although the visuals were appalling and resembled something out of the commodore 64 era. I contacted customer services who responded to ask when I experience problems and when I explained nothing else was said. I have a 100MB internet connection so it should work fine. Great idea but maybe someone will come up with a working solution,

Poor customer service and development, they were completely unable to understand why their software was unable to work for me. After 30 minutes of troubleshooting, they told me "ur screwed" and pretty much gave up on me. What's the point of paying for a product if you can't even troubleshoot your product?

Service is okay, however performance of the machines is very poor even though specs suggest otherwise. After setting up a Papercut machine and installing BF1, I wasn't able to manage 30+ FPS on the lowest settings possible. I tried all the different possible VM's which took me a couple of hours in total (= wasted credits). The Amazon machines aren't even capable of running BF1 since they're running on an old Windows (server?) version ... Finally settled with a Papercut machine and manually updated the GeForce driver to the newest version (even though Papercut/Parsec explicitly tells you not to, since it might be possible that the VM will be corrupted). This managed me to get in the 60 ish FPS zone with decent settings (still not what the machine should be capable of if you check the specs). Ended up switching back to my 2012 Alienware M17R4 since it still performances better. My trigger to write this review was an e-mail from Parsec notifying me that my VM was deleted due to insufficient credits. I'm disappointed...

Running games on LiquidSky before I thought that was pretty cool. Until I came across Parsec which outranks all remote desktop services I have ever worked with. The app itself runs very smooth, although I had to disable the echo reduction setting because of audio sync problems. Other than that it is very well designed. When playing with a Paperspace P5000 machine it feels like I’m playing even the heaviest games right on my own 5 years old laptop. At full 1080p60! I have now completely switched all my games to the Parsec/Paperspace combination and am happily playing AC:Origins with high settings on my old MacBook with external display, that otherwise can’t even launch the game!! I have also noticed that it is great for graphic design work with realtime rendering on the high performance GPU.
