The software is great and the free version offers everything you need.
Yes, there have been connection issues, which have prevented me from working and I had to switch to other software quickly.
But I'm pretty sure the team is fixing these things and the software will only become better.
The reason I prefer it over the other software is because it's the fastest one I've found yet.
The speed to quality ratio is the best on the market so far. (and I've tried a lot of software)
As for support I cannot speak, because I haven't used it. But better documentation would be useful.

Simply the best lag free experience
Simply the best lag free experience. Still waiting for Steam Deck and iOS clients, that is why I docked a star. It allows almost lag free internet gaming and access to your PC over the internet. The other reviewers don't know what they're talking about. There is no hacking. If you accidentally give access to your whole PC to someone, they can do whatever they want. So, make sure to use a very strong password and 2FA.

Playing games with randoms | Gamegrumps uses it
The GOOD:
Simple software to connect to other people. You can enable a friend to control your PC for digital editing, like 3D and Photoshop, or gaming, like map editing and playing The Sims together.
Arcade mode is a similar experience except you can restrict access to only the currently active window for gaming or watching a show. Arcade is where randos pop in and out of whatever is being hosted for literal drop-in gaming.
While you set the buttons on your gamepad, in-game controls are set on the host-side, and can include gamepad (default), keyboard and/or mouse.
The MAYBE
The Parsec team suggests a VPN could reduce the connection, causing jitters in multiplayer, and VPN sites say Parsec reveals your IP. In the past, players of online games would troll others by telling their IP in chat, so it all sounds like scare-tactics to me.
If the host has poor internet, the client will receive heavy pixilation & smudging, and input delay. So far, my connection has been pretty expected from connecting to strangers.
Some people do experience no sound from the host. The Parsec team has so many resolutions listed that it sounds like they don't know why. My latest host fixed it by also streaming the game over Discord, so it's not a problem with their computer.
The BAD:
4 of 5 stars because there is no way to report a streamer for 'playing' hardcore pornography. Even bringing it up on their Discord yields 0 replies.
The UGLY:
As it's remote-desktop software, giving users access to keyboards for gaming could potentially enable them to run the system shutdown code off a macro, or sending a link to the Run command. Haven't tried, and I'm wary about hosting a game.
