On 2 seperate occassions I had an appointment with parker and sons. They did a no call, no show. When I complained I was told that I would be get a 3 month credit but instead they charged me like normal for crappy service. When I called about it again I was lied to again. Thanks for the lies Parker and Sons!

Unbelievable
Unbelievable, called for a repairman to come out and give me a diagnostic on my air conditioner. My phone had been turned off during a meeting earlier that day and I missed my call back by five minutes. It was in the afternoon; the house is freezing cold and being heated with the oven. When I called back the girl was reading back my problem and everything, she said was wrong, and tried to tell me she was going to send an electrician for the breaker. I said the breaker was for the air conditioner/heater, and I needed a repair man for my air conditioner. Anyway, I spent an hour listening to her talk about her crazy life and telling me she needed money bad. Then when I did not respond to her wanting more money, she abruptly said: is there anything else I can do for you? I said "no, I just need a repairman".... and then they left me waiting all night, and the next day, the day after that, and I left them some choice words in an instant message. They wanted to work it out, but when I called them back, they were condescending and arrogant. and ultimately told me I would need to wait two weeks!

Volume supercedes quality and care
Three years ago, we had a water softener and a Reverse Osmosis system installed by Parker and Sons through Costco. It has been nothing but constant aggravation and persistent lies on the part of this company. We were told that the water softener would regenerate less often than our older system and that it would use less water in doing so and the regeneration process would take place every so many gallons of usage. Well, there was no truth in that. I am awakened nearly every two or three mornings at 2 AM at the sound of the system regenerating. We had called about this, and we were told that they would see to it that the system would be reset to regenerate as per usage. After two or three visits on their part, we were told that “it is what it is”, and that it would regenerate more often than what was incorrectly stated by the initial representative and the prior technicians. In the meantime, they also told us that the filters on the RO system would not need to be changed more than once per year. At 2:15 AM, six months after the installation, I would get text notifications every single morning that the filters needed to be changed. At LEAST four times they insisted that this was resolved but it took until last year for that to finally be remedied. This past Monday I called at 4 PM to set up an appointment to have the filters changed, which was needed, and so that I would not be awakened at 2:15 each morning with these text notifications. I was told by the person who answered (who, BTW, had mentioned that he remembered me because of the mispronunciation of my last name) that a technician would arrive between 8 and noon on Thursday. At 11:45 on Thursday I called to see if a technician was still going to arrive, and they had no record of my having called for an appointment. That is the second time that they did that to us. They informed me that they would send a technician between noon and 4 PM. The job was completed. From that next morning, onward, I have been receiving text notifications at 2:15 AM that the filters need to be changed. I made them aware of this by calling them as well as by emailing them and they insisted that the technician reset it. This morning, after having been awakened again at 2:15, I decided to remove the batteries so that it would disconnect from the Wi-Fi. Thank goodness that I did, indeed, go under the sink. The filter (or filters) was (were) improperly installed and my cabinet was flooded. They are supposedly a 24/7 company, but they are useless and incompetent. I called Costco to notify them of the situation and they told me to keep calling Parker and Sons. When I did call back, they told me that I would be scheduled for Monday for between 8 and noon. Poor quality, incompetent service, poor customer service, and misinformation! A manager will be arriving today, Sunday, to evaluate the situation. In the meantime, my cabinet is ruined, and the aggravation is mounting. Now we are also worried about the possibility of mold. I would avoid this conglomerate of a do-it-all company, like most large businesses whose volume is more important than quality and customer care.

Took advantage of my elderly parents
Took advantage of my elderly parents! Charged them $4600 to replace a water heater. Then tried to put them on a monthly plan at over $20.00 per month. They should be ashamed of themselves!!! their response to me was they signed before doing the repair. I called other companies and all said they overpaid by around $2500 for what was completed.

Called Parker & Sons to get a simple…
Called Parker & Sons to get a simple kitchen faucet replaced. I had purchased a new faucet online myself. Just to replace the faucet I was quoted over $500 - OUTRAGEOUS! Will never use this company again! I called another well known company and was quoted hundreds less.

Parker and Sons: "Emergencies Are Us on a Daily Basis" - forget appointments people had actually SET UP!
Parker and Sons schedules "emergencies" as part of their daily schedule. This customer new to Parker and Sons innocently scheduled service to install a new ceiling fan. I was told I was the next customer in a 2 to. 6pm time frame. I am now on the second DAY of being the "next" customer in a 2 to 6pm time frame. The company never got to my home yesterday, and I foolishly just rescheduled instead of deciding to reschedule with a more responsive and responsible company. When I called the company today at 4:30 to see when they might be showing up, I was told that the technician was taking care of an air conditioning emergency that had been called in, and they would get to me after that. Frankly, this is lousy customer service. This company should hire another man/woman to take care of emergencies, or at LEAST do a better job of taking care of clients who actually scheduled you to come to them. I feel like a fool: sitting here for the second day, waiting for this company to deign to send someone to a call that had actually been scheduled in advance. Why bother even to schedule in advance? Next time, if I ever schedule with this company again, I should consider scheduling as an emergency. I think it would actually get somebody to my home faster.

Pretty awful
Pretty awful. Had these guys come out to fix a broken duct. The coupler came loose and it needed to be taped back together. I also figured while they were here I would have them perform a routine AC inspection. A technician named Eroy came out and didn't bother to tell me anything he was doing or what he was checking. He marked that he checked the filters, which he definitely hadn't. That's the absolute basics and he lied about it. Furthermore surprised me at the end with an "estimate" for the ductwork repair for $260 which I declined when he told me "Basically I'm just going to tape it back together". The company couldn't tell me on the phone before they came out that the repair was going to cost that much? Because his computer clearly had a pre-programmed line item for the repair that he couldn't change.
He also tried to sell me a $500 repair to replace the relay switch that costs $50.
Lastly, this guy was supposed to "have experience with Solar systems". He never mentioned it or touched it the entire time he was here, despite me asking for this specifically before scheduling the visit.
Con artists. Avoid this company. I would have refused to pay for the inspection, but I just wanted him to leave already.
