Well I let another one get underneath …
Well I let another one get underneath me. While searching for a chop rite grinder on the internet I avoided the retailers that said "out of stock". Pantry Paratus said "in stock" so I pulled the trigger and ordered it. Then here comes the email saying it is out of stock and will ship direct from manufacturer, in about 2 weeks. That was 11 days ago. We'll see what happens. One thing that did happen, my credit card was charged instantly. All this tells me they are likely one of the thousands of outfits that stock nothing, just run a slick website that looks like a retailer then ship direct from manufacturer. It worked though, they got their 1 and only sale out of me.

Kevin, We are sorry for your disappointment. Although we stock nearly everything we sell, those particular grinders are cast iron and very heavy for shipping. Having them ship directly from the manufacturer is how most companies sell those particular items, so that it the shipping cost is only incurred once--from them to you. It was our error that it showed the item in stock when it wasn't, and for that we are truly sorry. We did try to communicate the backorder to you and your refund was within the half-hour of your request. The item is back in stock within the week, so we are sure you'll find it from another retailer soon.
