Overpriced, rigid billing, and zero flexibility
I've been in business long enough to know when a software company doesn't actually care about its customers, and PandaDoc is a perfect example. The billing structure is a nightmare. API credits are sold separately, on top of an already expensive subscription, with zero transparency about how fast you'll burn through them. I went over my API credit limit mid-month and rather than a heads-up or grace period, I just got cut off. No warning. No buffer. Just broken workflows. When I reached out to support asking for a partial refund, or even a credit toward the next month, I was told flat out that refunds are not offered under any circumstances. For a platform at this price point, that's genuinely insulting. You're paying premium SaaS prices for a company that treats you like a transaction, not a customer. The interface looks clean but the functionality underneath is fragile. Integrations break, the API documentation is spotty, and getting real help from support feels like pulling teeth. I switched to GoHighLevel (GHL) and I genuinely don't know why I waited so long. GHL handles document workflows, e-signatures, and automation all in one place, at a fraction of the cost. The UI is intuitive, the support is responsive, and it actually integrates seamlessly with my existing stack without nickel-and-diming me on API usage. PandaDoc might look polished in a demo, but in real-world use it's overpriced, inflexible, and the no-refund policy should be a dealbreaker for any business owner who values their money. Save yourself the headache and look at GHL first.
