I have two of these hats they are my favorite hats they fit perfectly and stay on in a stiff breeze. They get better with age. You need one.

I have a number of hats from Panama Hats Direct (PHD) and have been quite pleased with the products. My hats are usually super-fino and above, and the description of the various levels of fiber weave are spot on! I have Panama hats from a major Italian manufacturer, and the quality and fineness of the weaving can't hold a torch to the hats from PHD. I do like the offer of different hat bands, but basic black grosgrain is hard to beat. If you need something special, e.g., pencil-rolled brim, Casey and his crew are eager to help. It has been several yeas since I got myPanama hat from Casey. I bought the cheap one. quite frankly I wasn't looking for a real good Panamp, juat a good panama.one I could work ing. This one has served me well. I wear it in the yard, working, but I cant resist wearing it when I am out and about town. For a $69 hat it is fantastic. I didbut one more which I had sent to my brother back East. He hasn't commented on it so I can say nothing about it, unfortunately. Casey has done all he could to insure that I was satisfied.

I have purchased three hats from PHD over the past three or four years-one Havana and two Optimos. Two were Fino grade and on Extra Fino.. I was well satisfied with each. While I found the weave of one of the Finos to be a bit coarse, in general I thought they were all well made and a good value.

Great quality, broad selection of styles AND weaves. Highly recommended.
