Great hats; I've now had three with one lost and one worn out (which was a cheaper version). Now enjoying a Fedora fine weave with extra brim; looks cool with excellent sun protection. One order was slow to ship but response to my query was good. All delivered in useful packaging which owner should keep for travelling if not wearing. Enjoy.

Authentic handmade Panama hats (made in Ecuador) are becoming more and more rare. Having bought several Cuenca and Montecristi hats from Panama Hats Direct, I can attest to their quality, fair pricing and service. With a small head, I mostly have to have mine made to order, which produces a hat made to specification. I have kept one Montecristi in my car in Florida for several years, and worn it constantly. While it has naturally darkened a bit, there has been no degradation or cracking of the straw.
