The hat I bought filed a long-held wish to have such a hat. Ordering from and dealing with Panama Hats was a more than pleasant experience. They provided a way of getting my size right, the website has excellent images of designs and gives good descriptions. Following my order, they sent emails to let me know where they are up to in the making. After receiving the hat (in good condition) I had follow up questions which were dealt with personally, very promptly, and politely. If there were six stars, I'd give them.

Panama Hats Direct is without question, a superior source for genuine Panama Hats. I have, in the past, purchased a Panama Hat from a local retailer. I received a sub-fino, Cuenca hat that did not fit perfectly. The cost was equal to what Panama Hats Direct charges for a custom made fino, Montechristo hat.

First hat wasn't the correct size but they were quite excellent in fixing the mistake. Have had the hat now for over a year and love it. I've received many complements on the hat while out and about as well.
