I REALLY wanted to give Paint By Canvas a 5-Star Review, because I love the concept of taking a photo, and then getting a high-quality, paint-by-numbers canvas. But their shipping leaves a lot to be desired. I placed my order in early-December (for a Christmas gift). But it took nearly a full month to finally be delivered, and didn't arrive until after New Year's!!! The company's owner sent out a mass email to customers, letting us know our orders would be delayed... but it still made for a disappointing Christmas purchase. Probably won't be shopping with them again, unless they can fix their subpar shipping situation.

It’s been a really mixed experience- and generally either a 5 star or 1 star experience The good: I’ve had three of the custom paintings that have been gorgeous, the lines and drawings are easy to see and the finished products do look like a photo. I love that you can customise the paintings and make something really personal. They are some of the better paint by numbers kits The less good: I’ve had one painting that didn’t really look like the photo I sent- it was very over exposed. Customer service said it would be fine when I painted it but after working half of it, it just felt very patchy so I didn’t finish. I also received a painting as a gift in July 25 and tried to continue painting in November but the paints had dried up. This felt quick as my others have taken me several months (at least 7-8 months and paints have been fine). when asking if we could order replacements we were told they had changed suppliers and it wasn’t possible. They advise completing within 3 months which I didn’t see advertised anywhere So essentially when it goes right it is good, but when things don’t go right the company doesn’t seem to be able to help.

I've order several painting from you and the last two i got, the paint was so bad but I made it work. Don't know what you did to the paint but they are not smooth and easy to use.

All in the box looks ok. It hasn’t been used yet so not sure how it’ll turn out, but as this was a gift and the price you pay for it, you expect the box to be of good quality and arrive safely. Unfortunately however, the box turned up very badly damaged, ripped. The box doesn’t reflect the price you pay for it to arrive safely. I did write to them regarding this, and said I would feel embarrassed given it away as a gift as it looks cheap. It took them a couple of days to reply back, I didn’t feel like they really cared much to be honest. It takes a while for the product to be delivered which is understandable, but was expecting the box to be strong not flimsy.

Ordered 5/12/23. Tried to amend a couple days later (9/12/23) and was told I was too late as it had already shipped. Now (23/12/23) still not received my order. Not entirely sure what they are using to ship packages. Edit: I did receive my order, just later than promised.
