I got a strange message from them today, saying that it seemed I had a duplicate account: which IS UNTRUE. After sending them documents to verify, messages and emails, they approved my account again, but never explained me what happened, which is disappointing since I have always been a faithful participant.Hope THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN.

Hi Ilaria.
We understand it's unsettling to have your account flagged, especially when you're confident nothing was wrong on your end. We can't share the specific methods we use to identify duplicate accounts, since disclosing that would make it easier for people to work around our verification process going forward. Protecting that process is what allows us to keep evaluations accurate and fair for everyone on the platform.
In this case, it appeared that other accounts were duplicates of yours, and once you submitted the documentation we requested, we were able to review and reinstate your original account. We appreciate your understanding and your willingness to work with us to get that resolved.

I have used this and enjoyed it
I have used this and enjoyed it. Payouts were quick and easy. However, my account has been suspended because they claim I'm using a VPN or proxy server....which I am not. After much back and forth, my account was reinstated, which makes me happy. But it also makes me nervous that it may happen again and I would be as much in the dark as I was before not knowing how I managed to violate the rules.

Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
We understand how frustrating it can be to have an account suspended, especially when you believe you have not used a VPN or proxy. Our system flags VPN/proxy usage automatically as part of security and fraud prevention measures to protect both members and clients. In some cases, these checks can be triggered incorrectly by certain networks, browsers, mobile carriers, or security software that route traffic in ways similar to VPN behavior.
If you have already reached out to support, the next step is to ensure your message includes as much detail as possible (device type, browser, internet provider, and whether you are using any security or privacy tools), as this helps the team review the flag more accurately. If there is still an active restriction on the account, support can re-check the case manually.
We appreciate the time you spent on the platform and regret that your experience with the review process has not met expectations.

PaidViewpoint Survey Site
I've been doing surveys with PaidViewpoint for several years and it's been a fairly positive experience until now. It's a slow to earn low paying site but not too onerous. When I logged into the site I saw that I was required to do a profile update, including my address that is. I'm not happy about this so I contacted support. This was the response:
We recently updated our traits system, and as part of that update, all members are required to include their city in their profile address information.
This helps ensure that you are matched with the most relevant research survey opportunities available in your area. Keeping your profile information complete and up to date allows our system to send you surveys that are the best fit.
If you have not yet updated your address to include your city, please take a moment to do so from your profile settings. (Reference was made to their privacy policy but the link was removed from this review).
Please note if there are future issues with your account, you will be asked to provide documentation that confirms your first and last name, and full address. Failing to enter this information accurately will not only negatively affect your ability to receive surveys, but may prevent you from continuing your account if you do not have documentation to confirm it.
While we understand your hesitancy, please note that if you are not willing to share this information with us, you will not be able to participate in surveys, or receive rewards.
My response: So your site requires my full address not just my city. You also state that you may require documentation to prove my name and address. I've submitted another ticket as the question of security asked in my first support request was not answered.
In your privacy policy you state that "we do not share your name or email address with our clients". This is not my concern. I am very concerned, however about your site being hacked. The theft of data is a huge security risk and I know from personal experience what being scammed feels like and stress and toll that it takes. So now I'm debating if the small amount of earnings is worth the risk of giving you my personal data that potentially puts me at significant risk.
20/02/26 thanks for your reply. I also received a reply from support. They just pointed me back to the privacy policy. Regarding security it is not reassuring but it is honest. ........"However, transmission over the internet is not completely secure nor is any type of electronic storage, and there is always a risk that your information may be access or used by authorized third parties".
I appreciate the helpfulness of your explanation and more pleasant tone of your reply compared to the harsher tone of support. Upon reflection I will not update the profile with my address. The threat hanging over my head is that provision of documented ID will eventually be required and the security risk is not worth it. Also it takes ages to achieve cashout and I could end up losing out on my redemption. If things change and the address requirement is dropped I will happily return.

Caroline,
Thank you for being with PaidViewpoint for several years and for taking the time to share your concerns. Long-time members deserve clear answers, especially when something changes.
To clarify: we do require Address Line 1 and City. That is considered a full address for verification purposes. We are not asking for additional details beyond what is necessary to confirm identity and improve location-based survey matching. Many research survey opportunities are geo-targeted, and without accurate location data, members are either screened out or cannot be invited at all.
Regarding documentation: this is only requested if there is an account inconsistency, such as mismatched profile information, duplicate accounts, or unusual activity. It is not a routine requirement. It is part of protecting both the platform and legitimate members from fraud and account misuse.
Your concern about security is completely understandable. Data breaches are a real issue across the internet. PaidViewpoint implements industry-standard safeguards to protect member information, including secure data storage and restricted internal access. We do not sell personal data. Survey responses are anonymized and aggregated before being shared with clients.
The address requirement is about verification and accurate survey matching — not marketing, not resale of data, and not unnecessary data collection.
That said, participation is always your choice. If you are not comfortable providing the required information, you would not be able to continue taking surveys or receiving rewards. We respect that decision, but we also want members to understand why the requirement exists.
If you would like a more detailed explanation of our security practices, our support team can provide additional information directly.
We appreciate the years you have spent with us and hope this helps you make an informed decision.

Most surveys are ten cents and by the time they screen you for the survey you have invested three or four minutes of your time. They pay but some days you have no surveys. Most of the surveys are about laundry products and paper products which gets quite boring after a while. How much time does anyone really put into research on there laundry detergent or paper towels?

Thank you for sharing your experience. Survey availability and topics vary based on research needs, and we understand that some topics may feel repetitive. We appreciate your time and participation, and we’re always working to offer a wider variety of surveys. If you have any questions or need assistance, please let us know!

The UI makes the site feel like a scam
The UI for the website makes doing these surveys feel like you're being scammed. You shouldn't be telling users they're going to make $0.80 in 5 minutes only to waste 3 minutes and only get $0.10. You should know that probably doesn't feel very good to users. You SHOULD be advertising them as $0.10 surveys since that's what they are guaranteed, and with a opportunity for a bonus (aka the real payout, if you qualify for the survey). Other than that, the website isn't ACTUALLY a scam and is actually a decent earner if you live in the US and have nothing else.
Changed my review back to a 3 star after getting a generic automated response from support instead of actually addressing the issue.

I am downgrading my rating a bit
I am downgrading my rating a bit. For some months now it's barely worth the trouble. I still do it, but I'm almost not sure why. I mean, I guess it's better than nothing. It is legit. But the pay is so very, very low -- although I must say the pay is higher than some of the other survey sites. But in recent months I get a lot of notices of available surveys, I respond quickly, but then get a notice that the survey is no longer available. Or I see a survey that says it pays a higher amount, but then it results in a pay of ten cents. When I had no other online income source, this was at least a little something, but now that I have found online income that pays much more, It's almost not worth the trouble. *Almost* -- I'm still doing it, but I don't bother interrupting something else I might be doing.

Paid viewpoint is a decent app to earn extra money. I have friends who have earned 2100 usd in one year only by referrals. I have been doing it for 3 months and only made 23.00 usd. They send the surveys at night while I sleep then they expire and I earn nothing.

You're referring to the Research Surveys that appear as notifications via email or text. These are created by our DIY researchers through our sister site, aytm.com. Business owners, market researchers, and entrepreneurs use aytm.com 24/7 to build surveys and choose their target audience, which includes you! With our global panel, surveys are launched at various times to ensure quick turnarounds for clients.
Please note that many surveys are only available in your dashboard without notifications. To maximize your survey opportunities, we recommend checking your dashboard throughout the day. If you keep a tab open in your browser, our PV icon will turn dark pink when a new survey is ready. You can also enable sound notifications.

Response from PaidViewpointAug 12, 2024
Hi Mona,
We don't guarantee any specific schedule for surveys, as it is based entirely on what our clients order and if you match the demographic they're researching.
The more active you are on the site, the more survey opportunities you will receive. Be sure that your demographics are complete and up to date, your notifications are turned on, and you are checking your dashboard throughout the day for surveys that aren't emailed out.
If you still aren't seeing surveys, please open a support ticket from your dashboard so we can take a look at your account.
