Possibly the biggest waste I've ever made of my time
This is simply a copy of a ticket I sent to PaidViewpoint a few minutes ago:
Hello,
Please don't take this as a hostile comment, but if there were an award for "Biggest waste of time on a survey site," you would win it hands down. I've been a member for around...2 years now, with a trait score of 10,000, and the compensation I've received for that is roughly equivalent to what I would (and have) received in 2-4 weeks from any of your legitimate competitors. I don't know what kind of game you're trying to run, but I'm not playing any more. Thank you for your time.
The long and short of it is, while this site fronts as being legitimate, even after obtaining the maximum "trait score" (which takes several months of taking every single survey they send you) you don't actually make more than around $0.30-$0.40 per survey, and they don't pay out until you hit $15.00. Until you hit the maximum trait score, you get $0.10 per survey 90% of the time, and you only have access to a few surveys a week.
So...you can use PaidViewpoint and make $0.50 per week for a year, then maybe $1 after that, by completing every survey available every day, or you could go to any number of other sites, take 1 or 2 of your choosing a day, and make 10x in a week from day one. Up to y'all :) .

And we will share our response to your ticket:
Hi there,
We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns. Please note that survey availability is based on activity; logging in regularly helps increase your chances of receiving more opportunities. Our records show limited activity on your account since the beginning of the year, which has affected your earnings. We recommend more frequent logins to maximize survey availability.
We understand our platform may not be a fit for everyone, and we appreciate you giving us a try.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Unethical Practices and Handling of Frozen Accounts
Dear Paid Viewpoint Support Team,
I am writing to formally address several concerns I have encountered with your service, particularly regarding the unethical handling of accounts and funds when an email is hacked or stolen.
Firstly, it is deeply concerning that when an account is compromised, customers lose their funds, despite having no control over the security breach. This policy of penalizing customers for hacked accounts, regardless of the terms in your contract, is not just poor business practice—it is morally indefensible. It appears that your company profits significantly from the suffering of your customers, and this raises serious ethical questions.
Additionally, I would like to inquire about the interest accrued on funds held in frozen accounts. It is troubling to think that substantial amounts of money are sitting in these accounts, accruing interest for your company over extended periods, potentially up to a year. This practice suggests a disturbing lack of concern for customer welfare. Is the revenue generated from these frozen funds not sufficient to address the losses faced by your customers?
As a dedicated survey participant for many years, I am deeply disappointed by this lack of support and accountability. When customers need to change their email or recover their accounts, they should not be met with punitive measures or indifference.
One last thing. Your company only offered the one time change because I complained on a global site. Lets get that point out there. After I complained you offered. You are very right your company does not fit with my moral compass. I wish you the best of luck.

Hi Cindy. You apparently did not read our response to your support ticket before deleting your account, where we directed you to our FAQ page that explains why we have this policy, and where we then offered you a one-time exception to the policy and included directions on how to change your information.
It appears our site was not a good fit for you, so we wish you the best. Please stay safe and well.

I just got an email from paid viewpoint…
I just got an email from paid viewpoint stating that I could get paid $0.10 to $53 for a paid survey it didn't tell me how long though. I just think that's a horrible price for us to work for..
Response from PaidViewpointSep 9, 2024
Hi Crystal,
We share a range of reward options in the invitation in case you do not pass a pre-qualification question and are redirected to a trait survey. Please note we do not have any surveys that pay $53. For more information on how long a survey will be expected to take, please log into your dashboard, where the expected survey length and reward range for any available surveys are displayed before you take the survey.

not the paid viewpoint it used to be!
I've been a member of paid viewpoint for some years now. and lately, just because the company asking for the survey to be done, if they don't like your answer, you get punished. Well, I'm sorry. If I don't like a product and I'm asked why, I will explain. If I can't use a product in the survey, I will explain that too. If I'm asked to judge a cosmetic, but the model in the ad is a different color of skin, how can I determine how it would look on me? those are the things that have got me punished. This site is NOT worth it. You can't be honest and if the company hosting the survey doesn't like your answer, YOU get punished. There are better sites out there to use!
Since, I can't directly reply to paid viewpoint's rebuttal, I will here. I have never answered ok, I don't know, etc. to a question. As you can see here, I am versed in complete sentences. The fact still IS, the companies not liking your complete sentence answer will get you punished, as they state below, they won't get paid. Maybe it's time they ask the companies if they are being BIASED in the answers they are wanting and are refusing answers that don't meet their biased agenda.
oh, believe me. I've already deleted you from my computer bookmarks and have also used other websites to make people aware how you really are.
It's a shame that you wouldn't stand up for those taking your surveys, but wish to side with the companies that pay you.
but what do you plan on doing with the $5 dollars and change in my account, not forward it to my paypal? that only shows others how crooked you are.
I have never once given an inappropriate answer, have never given a one word answer ( ok, good, etc ) I have never even given a gibberish answer. I use complete sentences and give thought to my answers. I can't believe I'm being PUNISHED by the actions of the company wanting the survey. I am not responsible for their BIAS and what they want in their answers. And I don't understand why you are not standing up for those that participate in your program by questioning the companies. Is it because for the ones they reject with their BIAS, puts more money in your pockets.
You see it here folks. Paid viewpoint does NOT care about you. Only about the money they rake in. There are lots of reliable and reputable sites out there. Avoid paid viewpoint.

Hi Beth,
To clarify, open-ended (OE) questions are questions where you are asked to type in your answer. Your responses go to our clients who commissioned the survey. They review the answers and reject the answers that are not helpful. One-word answers, or simply saying things like "ok" or "good" or "I don't know" will be rejected. Answers are never rejected for differing opinions, but rather responses that do not answer the question being asked.
We ask our members to always take their time and provide thoughtful responses on open-ended questions. If you feel the questions or products are irrelevant to you, or you have no opinions at all to share on the survey topic, it is always best to exit the survey.
Ultimately, the clients pay us so we can pay you. If your answers are consistently unhelpful to them, it affects your account standing because they do not pay for your response.
Your account is still active. You can close your account by scrolling to the bottom of your Settings page, and clicking Close Account. Please note that if you choose to close your account, all rewards will be forfeited. Please read our Reward Rules for more information, however we have copied some relevant parts below for your convenience:
Rewards Rules
1. When Rewards are credited to your account, they are “unvested,” meaning they are the property of Umongous, Inc. Rewards remain unvested until you request to redeem such Rewards. When you redeem, the Rewards become “vested,” meaning you have achieved ownership of the Rewards.
2. Rewards are eligible for redemption if you have at least $15.00 in your account.
It appears our site is not a good fit for you. Thank you for giving us a try.

Total waste of time
Total waste of time, you do one survey and earn 10 cents then have to wait hours for another if your lucky. Not worth the time.

Snail's paced (for earnings) survey website
This survey website must be the slowest ever known to man for people to earn some money. I started with hope in my heart that I was going to be able to complete some amazing surveys and getting recompensed at a reasonable rate.
That hope was dashed when I was earning 3c per survey and my trait score rose little by little. As I had joined the website a fair while back, I started to get annoyed and my gut feeling tonight said, "Get the hell out." I can now forget the wasted time I spent here and join other more worthwhile paying survey websites.
Response from PaidViewpointJul 23, 2024
Thanks for giving us a try Caz. While we are working to expand our survey availability for our worldwide members, our clients are usually interested in opinions regarding North American and UK products and services. Our international members sometimes find that it does take longer to reach their cash out threshold.
