They ask too many personal questions and sell you to data brokers.
I love helping clients with their products. Giving my opinion helps them and it is fun to do because it is the kind of survey that makes sense. The surveys themselves are usually relatively short. The client does not try to use up your time for a few cents. But, paidviewpoint does. They spend over half of your time digging into your personal life so they can share and sell you as a product for the data brokers who will get your information eventually on the dark web. Your personal information is what they sell. The surveys are just something to get you sucked in. Usually they'll give you a dime if you don't qualify for a survey. Most real surveys pay less than half a dollar. A few pay a dollar or more. Not many. But one of the worst parts and the reason I'm quitting is because you have to have $15.00 in order to cash out. To the best of my knowledge, this is either the highest or near the highest payout requirement of any survey platform. Depending on how much time you choose to spend on the platform AND how many surveys they will give you, it could take half a year to get to cash out. They do not offer many surveys like other platforms. If you choose to try them, be very cautious about the personal information you give them. Never give your address, phone or anything like that. Always remember, they are making a file of you and making you a product to sell. The more data you give them, the more THEY make. I suggest you are truthful as far as it goes but don't give any information that could come back to haunt you. You do not owe anyone your personal information. They have no right to know if you are straight or gay or trans. They do not need to know your age. They do not need to know if you are black, white or brown. I ask you, is that not against the law when you apply for a job? When you apply for a job, they can't even ask if you are married. So why do they junkie survey sites think you owe them all of this information? And if you say "prefer not to answer" they won't pay you. I do not recommend this site. I would love to work directly with the client on his or her product but no one needs to know anything about me I do not wish to divulge. Therefore I do not recommend this site. One final thing, they ask the same questions over and over to test you to see if you are not telling the truth. Each survey asks some of the same questions they have asked before like what town you live in, if you drink coffee; they give you a long list and you must remember your original answers. Best to just check one or two things that you won't forget. It's none of their business anyway.
Response from PaidViewpointAug 10, 2026
We want to be clear that PaidViewpoint does NOT sell personal information to data brokers or share it on the dark web. Survey responses are anonymized and aggregated before they are shared with clients, and your personal details are protected under our Privacy Policy. We ask for demographic information because clients often need very specific audiences, and it also helps us verify accounts and prevent duplicate registrations or fraud. On cash out: the first cash out requires $15, which covers verification costs. After that, members in good standing can cash out at $10, and $5 for every cash out after that. As for repeated questions, these help confirm consistency in your answers over time, which supports data quality for our clients and keeps rewards fair for members who respond accurately. We're sorry to hear PaidViewpoint wasn't the right fit for you.
