Cannot recommend this company, have been contacted through them, through an additional sub-contractor for nearly 3 years now. Limited knowledge of local legal terms. Keep (trying) to change existing terms, one-sided without alignment. Likely would not contract with a company that goes through them. The best, when they wanted to aim me a direct localized contract. Local language, is FYI only, translation quality was so amazing that I would be embarrassed to the employer. Customer Service queues to process "employees" through a portal approach with people that do not understand much. Classical Tier 1 poor quality handling of requests.

My employer switched from another HR/Payment processing company to Oyster after Oyster made all sorts of promises, guarantees, and other lies and/or misstatements. Unfortuantely, they failed right out of the gate and resulted in my first paycheck through Oyster being delayed by over a month. This would be enough to warrent one or fewer stars, but then it gets worse. Their "solution" was to have me awarded the missing paycheck as a "sign on" bonus for the first month that they actually did pay me. Unfortunately, they then messed up the pay rate, my national insurance, my start date, and more. This resulted in my first check being short anyway. To make matters worse, they reported my annual income to the HMRC as being almost 2x what I actually make. This resulted in me being erroneously taxed at a significantly rate than I should have been. I raised these issues with Oyster and my employer over and over again showing all the evidence and proof that they messed up, but they always insisted that they didn't, don't and couldn't make a mistake and that I must be misunderstanding things. They repeatedly refused to look at my evidence or check anything just repeating "look, if we use the incorrect tax ID that we got from HMRC after providing them incorrect info, it says we're right. sEe?" This headache, on top of charging my employer as much, if not more than our previous payment processor along with a lot of stress from Oyster resulted in my employer deciding it was easier to dismiss me rather than deal with this nightmare of a company. I would advise anyone with any sense or responsibility for their employees to avoid Oyster like the plague they are.

Oyster provides the EOR service but their customer service is spotty, getting different answers from different people, slow on responses, and odd policies on deposits.

When hiring employees in a country that we have not operated in before, Oyster are super helpful in explaining the relevant labour laws. They answer any questions we have quickly, patiently and with a detailed explanation.

Very quick to arrange a contract to start receiving their fees but incredibly difficult to get in touch with them. Their support email address has been removed and you are forced to use the Help Center, which is a bank of commonly asked questions. It's frustrating not to be able to contact a human being. When the first draft of my contact was sent, too much copy and paste become apparent and they had mixed my colleague's and mine... Payments are received religiously on the day agreed though, which is important A mixed experience, and currently frustrated as I need to speak to them but don't know how

Excellent service from hire to employee management. Oyster proved to be a premium tier provider and allow us to process multiple hires across many countries with full guidance regarding local regulations and benefits.
