About OYLA Magazine

About OYLA Magazine OYLA is an international science magazine dedicated to making complex scientific concepts accessible and engaging for young readers and curious minds of all ages. Founded with a mission to spark lifelong curiosity and critical thinking, OYLA has quickly become a trusted educational resource in over 15 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, and Australia. Each issue is carefully crafted by a team of scientists, educators, designers, and editors who believe that science should be inspiring, visual, and understandable. OYLA is 100% ad-free. This ensures that our readers – whether students, teachers, or families – receive a focused, distraction-free learning experience. Our mission is educational, not commercial. In 2025, we launched OYLA Junior, a new edition for younger readers (ages 8+), continuing our vision of nurturing a new generation of thinkers, inventors, and explorers. Join thousands of families, schools, and libraries that trust OYLA to bring science to life monthly. Our STEM loving family loves this magazine!
My 11 year old kid LOVES this magazine. He is very interested in math, science, history, and engineering and he looks forward to receiving the new magazine every month, reads it cover to cover, saves them and rereads them! The articles are well written and thorough and spot-on with accuracy. Our family is grateful to have a magazine we can all read, parents and interested kid alike.

Outstanding
Outstanding. As a former classroom educator, both middle school and elementary, these are HIGH INTEREST and utilize all the necessary non-fiction reading skills. The science is solid, not watered down to the point of incorrect. The articles are written so well that my husband and I enjoy reading them as well. This magazine continues to impress and deliver. This is the first periodical that I will continue a subscription for as it is the only one that stays super relevant AND interesting.

We love everything about this magazine. From my 9-year old daughter to my 50-year old husband, we read and reread our issues, that are packed with fascinating tidbits and interesting articles. We are on our fourth renewal and highly recommend for all ages.
