Such a wide range of science and math topics are presented with clarity and accuracy. The writing styles are almost always engaging and hold the reader's interest. Yet the articles don't all fall into a single format, but use a variety of ways to present a given topic, and often examine controversial issues from a variety of viewpoints. Articles are always accompanied by colorful, highly informative pictures, graphs, and tables. Sometimes I get the sense that I'm watching and hearing a video instead of reading an article. The Oyla team has hit a real sweet spot for making science and math both informative and fun. I have subscriptions for both the junior and the adult magazines for myself and my 4 grandchildren (ages 9 to 16). And their parents regularly read the magazines too! Oyla is doing a great service to society in promoting science and math. My 9 year old grand-daughter wants to become a biologist or doctor, and my 13 year old grand-son wants to go into molecular genetics. I just enjoy reading the magazines (I'm a retired science teacher/researcher).
