I purchased several of these containers because of the design and thought they were good quality. I was replacing old canisters. The sugar and brown sugar both got hard.Had to dispose of them. Very disappointed in this product. Nice design, but would not recommend using for any kind of sugar.

I bought a set of round glass bowls, 2 of them chipped after a couple of uses. Then the 9 cups coffee maker that supposedly highly rated on Wirecutter has rust on the screw where hot water passes before it drips into the coffee grounds. I have emailed the company and waiting for response. OXO responded. Had to submit pictures and video of the coffee maker. They did send a replacement for coffee maker and bowl.

Bought oxo salad spinner 20 years ago and it still works great. Bought a sponge and dish soap holder recently for kitchen sink and there is no grip on the bottom which you need by a sink! Bought a hand held cheese grater and the plastic handle broke 1st time use. The items are made to cheaply now. Will not buy or trust oxo anymore.

This review is on the OXO 5 piece POP container set. This container set was purchased at BJ's warehouse club. It consisted of a 4.4, 2.8 and 1.7 quart container plus two integral scoops. They were purchased on sale for $24.95. I purchased these thinking that they would be perfect to store both whole bean and ground coffee. The 4.4 qt perfect size for 2 pounds of whole bean coffee, the 2.8 qt would be a perfect size for one pound of whole beans and the 1.7 qt perfect for a 12 ounce bag of ground coffee. They are stylish and construction seemed very heavy duty and the scoops proved to come in handy. However after just a short period of time, 3 months actually, the rubber seal on the lids fail to provide any type of air tight seal. Either the push button mechanism on the lid has worn enough that it does not provide enough tension to push the rubber seal against the container or the rubber seal itself has worn out. In conclusion while these OXO POP containers initially showed potential their service life was very short and for this reason they are not recommended. There are less expensive better alternatives available.
