Constantly disconnects itself from wifi for no reason and just gives up!!! Nightmare product, and hard to fix It's a very expensive device, preying on parents worries and fears. They're charging stupid money for a barely functioning item. I await to see what they do to fix the wifi issue as this is ridiculous.

It is mind-blowing that 400+ dollar sock can only work on 2.4 GHz and cannot be connected on multi band / 5ghz network. We bought two for our twins. We could not make them work, this sent back. Btw all smart socks are same, so we just have up on them.

I purchased an Owlet Dream Sock, hoping it would provide peace of mind for monitoring my baby’s sleep. Unfortunately, after finally trying to set it up, I discovered that the sensor was faulty. The base station repeatedly disconnected, readings dropped in and out, and I spent hours troubleshooting a device that should be working perfectly. I contacted Owlet support for help but they refused to assist because the product was second hand, even though it was unused. Their response was dismissive and inflexible, showing no real acknowledgment of the product’s failure or the stress caused by having an unreliable monitor for my baby. What is even more concerning is that this device is marketed as a sleep monitor for vulnerable infants, yet it fails to function as expected. If this product can’t reliably monitor vital signs like oxygen levels and heart rate, there is a genuine risk that it could fail during a critical moment, leaving parents unaware of their baby's safety. This is not just an inconvenience — it’s a serious safety concern. It is completely unacceptable for a company to profit from anxious parents by charging premium prices for a product that fails to deliver and then refuses to stand behind their product when it’s clear that it’s faulty. Owlet is exploiting the trust and vulnerability of parents while showing no accountability. I would strongly caution other parents against purchasing this product, especially secondhand, as Owlet offers no support in these cases, regardless of the circumstances. You simply cannot rely on a product that may fail when you need it the most.

Super Produkt - wenn es zuverlässig funktionieren würde. Benutzen die Owlet Smart Sock 3 seit nunmehr 06/2023 und haben in diesen 2 Jahren zwar weder blaue Füße, Verbrennungen oder Fehlalarme beobachten können (echte Alarme gab es 2 x) jedoch ist es absolute Glückssache ob die App funktioniert oder nicht. Wüsste ich nicht sicher dass die Base zuverlässig alarmiert hätte ich das Teil schon lang zum Fenster rausgeworfen. Wochenlang keine Verbindung zur App möglich, dann wieder keinerlei Aufzeichnungen… Katastrophe echt. Der Kundenservice ist unterirdisch. Einfach nur miserabel!

Je suis un utilisateur de très longue date du produit Owlet Sock. J'ai acheté la Owlet sock 1 alors qu'elle sortait juste pour mon premier enfant. Super content du produit, tout s'est bien passé. Ensuite, l'application n'a plus supporté cette version de chaussette, j'ai donc du en commander une nouvelle pour me mettre à jour. Pas de remise, pas d'explications... juste "ça ne marche plus et c'est comme ça"... mais bon, on est parent, on ne transige pas avec la santé des enfants. Ma femme est de nouveau enceinte et devinez quoi ? La sock 2 n'est plus compatible, il va falloir que j'achète la Dream Sock pour me mettre à jour. Je me retrouve avec 700€ de chaussettes qui ne servent plus à rien. Autant vous dire la plus belle arnaque ! Le SAV a été contacté et vous avez l'impression de parler à ChatGPT en mode coincé parce qu'il ne peut rien vous accorder.. même pas 5% ou 10%. C'est no way ! Alors si j'ai un conseil à vous donner... acheter votre chaussette, utilisez la mais gare à la durée de vie de vos appareils... elle est déjà programmée.

Wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. It's a terrible product, sticker that protects the camera leaves residue all over it, had to clean it carefully just to be able to use it. Only supports 2G networks Camera is almost impossible to pair using QR code, tried multiple devices and networks. Devices create their own wifi network before they are paired.. but instructions do not offer a way to configure directly.. and connecting anyway doesn't yield any web address, ssh or telnet, so doesn't look like any alternative is available there. After an hour of trying.. managed to get it paired to another network.. then immediately it lost connection and became unmanagable. Power resets do nothing, it shows blue light like it's connected (yeah right). This product is complete garbage.

Extremely disappointed. I received the Smart Sock 2 brand new and sealed, but it never worked. I contacted support multiple times and followed every step, but they offered no real solution just told me the product had “reached the end of its life” before I even got to use it. The customer service was unhelpful, and I was left with a useless device. I regret trusting this brand.
