It has recently come to my attention that some online companies like Overstock are practicing a little scam where you the buyer purchase 1 item and 2 arrive! Due to their antiquated return process they are hoping you will not go through the hassle to return the second item that you did not order! I heard this on the Kelly Clarkson show where both her and her guest Katy Couric ordered online and had this experience as did I my last order. I know I ordered 1 set of curtains but 2 arrived. I called their CS overseas ofcourse and he TOLD me, "no you didnt accidentally order 1, you ordered both of them."

Never ever buy from overstock.com! They rob your money, I have some overstock gift cards, and apply them to the gift card balance in my overstock.com account, then buy one light from overstock.com, the gift card balance still have some money left, everything looks good until I notice the gift  card balance in my account has been cleared after 3 days. I called the customer service, and told them that maybe the website system has issues & cleared my gift card balance, but they did not admit they had any problem, and quibbled that my gift card is fraud. The problem is how can I check & get a valid gift card balance in overstock website if it is fraud, and how is it possible to apply a fraud gift card into my overstock account successfully?!  The funny thing is that they explained that my gift card which ends with 1538 is fraud, but I do not have any gift cards which end with 1538, I can not get my money back in the end.  The worst part is the light which they have already shipped has been "Return to Sender Requested". So I lost my money & lost the light I bought. What a scam website. Never buy from it!

Very disappointed...First time placing a very simple order with Overstock and as I'm waiting to receive the item I check the tracking info and it's saying it's been delivered to Destination..NewYork..Really my shipping address had nothing to do with NEW YORK!! This sounds like some Scam crap!! What a disappointment. I called to inform them and now I'm waiting on the outcome..what a mess!! Wishing I never placed a order with OVERSTOCK!! WOW..SMH!

I purchased a commercial sized popcorn machine. It came missing parts and couldn’t be used. I called overstock and the representative told me the parts were out of stock so therefore they would send me a new machine right away. He told me to re box the damaged item the best I could and they will have someone pick it up within 10 business days. I did as told. Weeks passed and I received nothing and nothing was picked up. I called again. The new representative told me she had no notes of my call but would put in my info at the time. She also told me someone would pick up damaged item and send me new 1. I finally received my new machine and someone eventually picked up damaged 1. Months later I received email that damaged item was never received back and my account was charged twice. I made several calls and spoke to several representatives and no one ever resolved my issue. I ended up with multiple charges for 1 high priced item that was never corrected. I have never ordered from them since. The 1st machine was missing parts and unable to use. The second machine I received was dented and I just never even called again to deal with the awful customer service.

Jeff Bezos owns this company, they rip you off to the best of their ability consistently. After using them frequently during my last move, I am tired of their crap and will never use again.

Ho avuto un'ottima esperienza con Overstock.com, meno male che non mi sono fidata di queste recensioni assurde su Trustpilot, la cosa più curiosa di questi "recensori" è che il 99% di loro ha scritto una sola recensione e guarda caso per dare 1 sola stella a Overstock (concorrenti forse?), aprite gli occhi ragazzi. Comunque, nonostante l'ansia mi sono fidata delle recensioni che si trovano sul sito di Overstock e ho fatto benissimo, ho comprato un tappetto molto bello che costava 80 euro in più su Amazon.it nonostante la spedizione mi sia costata ben 70 euro (!). Il tappetto in questione è del marchio nuLoom e mi piace davvero tanto. Appena fatto l'ordine ho chattato con il customer service per essere sicura di aver fatto l'ordine correttamente visto che c'erano 2 colori di tappetti e non si trovava questa informazione nella mail di conferma. La chat funziona benissimo, in due minuti mi hanno risposto dicendo che l'ordine era andato a buon fine e il colore era quello giusto. Ho scelto la spedizione veloce e l'articolo mi è arrivato con una settimana di anticipo. Fedex mi ha chiesto di inviare dei dati per la dogana via mail ma è andato tutto benissimo. L'imballaggio era fatto molto bene e il tappetto ha superato le aspettative, lo ricomprerei senz'altro. Su questo sito si trova una varietà enorme di tappetti e articoli per la casa, e certamente comprerò ancora da loro, peccato la spedizione ma in molti casi ne vale la pena. Trustpilot dovrebbe essere più attento agli account falsi perché in certi casi diventa inutile affidarsi alle recensioni.

I was extremely nervous buying from this site because of the bad reviews. The item I bought was a rug, and the reviews for the rug itself were quite good, so I went for it. My rug rug arrived within a week from USA and I am really happy with it. The cost went up due to the taxes added for shipping from US. Other than that, it was a good transaction.

Hi everyone I’m writing this review to alert anyone who wants to buy/ordered from overstock by blue haze they scam people by sending you what you did not ordered. I ordered a Calvin Klein pants and all what I receive is a cell phone charger head which is a very dirty trick from an overstock seller so please everyone be careful to order from overstock by blue haze.scamming peoples money cannot take you anywhere I’m so disappointed ☹️
