I got my hard drive back, and it's working great! I'm able to move all of my files off of this old one now, and onto the new. I'm so happy that Outsource Data Recovery was able to do this fix, and I'm so glad I found them online, and had found out that I had the option to do this fix, rather than spend tons of money on a retrieval. ODR did a great job recovering some very important data off a drive for me, quickly and before the dates they said it would be done. This would be a 5 star review, but the only issue I have is their pricing model. I would have liked the price to have been based on the amount of data that was actually recovered, not on the total amount of storage on the source drive;

Overall the service was excellent. Customer service are answered without long waits and they answered all questions ahead of time to my satisfaction. The process for double checking to see if your data was recovered before paying was quite fair so I highly recommend Outsource Data Recovery. This might have been my own fault but I was under the impression that they would allow me to download the data directly from a web sharing service. Instead I had to purchase a 128 Gig 3.0 USB device for $50 - which I could have purchased for $25 (See Sam's Club or Amazon) and then I had to pay an extra shipping fee for the device. Still, they recovered data from my solid state hard drive despite firmware failure for a total of $475 which was still cheaper than other bids, for example Geek Squad said they could do it for $650. Very competent people at Outsource Data Recovery. I recommend them fully.
