Sandra, We are sorry to hear that you were not impressed with the mountain view from Woodland Hideaway and we do understand your frustration of not being able to stay in the cabin you originally booked and where your honeymoon was. Unfortunately we did not have a choice because that was the only time our contractor had available for the remodel and that cabin really needed to be updated before the peak season. We do hope that you will give us a second chance and come stay with us again so we can give you a better experience with us!

Dear Candy, We apologize that you had a bad experience when you stayed with us last month. I do remember we had a lot of problems with multiple cabins that week as we had the ice/snow storm come through and everything was freezing up as it got down to negative degree weather(which the cabins and heaters were not built for such cold weather).That was a very rare week for us here in TN. I double checked with Jack Frost (our heating and air repair company) and he assured me that we did have him come look at the heater in your cabin and when we called you to make sure it was ok if we sent him up you were actually not in the cabin but you gave us permission to let him go check the heater. It turned out the heater was trying to defrost which is why it was making such a loud noise. As we do understand this was not a pleasant time for you we do hope you will consider that we did everything we could about the situation. As far as the cleanliness I am not sure why the cabin was not cleaned to ours and your expectations except that maybe they were under staffed due to the weather. We really do apologize for all of this and hopefully we can be more prepared for this bad weather next winter. We do appreciate your business very much and we hope that you continue to stay with us. Thank you!!

Dear David, We are very sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience staying with us. First, I would like to ask if you had reported these things to the office? We could have sent housekeeping back up to re-clean areas that needed it and bring you any extra cookware that you may have needed. We do not usually get complaints about our housekeepers so when we do they prefer to take care of any issues right away.We will also call our game repair company to look at the air hockey table. We do hope that you will consider staying with us again when you come back to the area so we can prove to you that you will have a better experience with us. Carol, We are doing some redecorating in the cabins now that it is a slower season. I highly recommend that you call the office to book a reservation so the reservation staff can let you know what the newest cabins are. Thank you and we hope that you will come stay with us again.

We strive to have the cleanest cabins in the rental business and if something like this happens we please ask to be notified right away so we can have housekeeping come back to fix it. Ken, We are so sorry for this I can assure you this is not a regular occurrence for our company. We do also apologize that it took all day to fix the swing but we do have an off-site maintenance crew and they try to get here as soon as they can. We try to have all our issues fixed within 24 hours. We do hope you will still come back and give us another try! Thank you.

Dear Paul, I am sorry that you did not have a great experience. We are working on maintenance issues now that it is a slower time of year. I personally would have sent housekeeping and maintenance to fix these issues if I had known. We strive to have the cleanest cabins in the rental business and if a cabin is not up to your standards then we will send housekeeping back to the cabin and take care of it!
