We had a wonderful trip with our 3 children over the Christmas holidays to Cairo and Luxor with Osiris Tours. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They made the trip fun, interesting and full of amazing history. We were completely taken care of from the moment we stepped off the airplane until we left the country. We always felt safe and taken care of. I would highly recommend traveling to Egypt with Osiris tours.

I’ve recently had the privilege of going on a private tour of Egypt arranged by Osiris tours. I was very happy with how everything was organized and its timely execution. All of the company’s representatives were professional and performed as promised. I was met at the airport in Cairo and was escorted and taken care of every step of the way until my flight home. I would like to specifically mention my two guides, Nermeen in the Cairo area and Sam in the south. They were both fantastic and made this trip wonderful. It wouldn’t have been the same without them. They both made me feel as though I had made friends in Egypt. I strongly recommend anyone looking to tour Egypt consider Osiris tours you simply can’t go wrong with them.

My son gave this trip to Egypt as a 65th birthday present. Our guides were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful and fun. Always felt safe with our drivers and guides. Mohamed felt like part of the family by the end of the Nile cruise.And Eman fitted my scarf to feel like apart of the Mosque experience. Osiris Tours provided an absolutely fantastic journey. Cairo and Giza, Luxor, Aswan and more all while cruising the Nile with service that was simply superb. Since this was my first cruise, I will never forget it. Sphinx, pyramids, pyramids and sphinx. Having never seen a pyramid, when I saw the first one through our hotel window at night in Cairo, I eventually became aware that my mouth was wide open and had been for a while. It was hauntingly breathtaking! Truly a WOW moment for me and after just being introduced to what became one of my favorite food dishes, Kushari. The journey through Petra was unbelievable (it's a journey so get ready) and worth every step (or ride on a camel/donkey) you make. Mahmoud's team of professional guides were excellent throughout the entire week. The pride each guide took in their explanations made their information even more meaningful. This was a trip of a lifetime and I highly recommend it if Egypt is on your list of places to see.

My family and I were able to experience the trip of a lifetime thanks to Osiris Tours! From the moment we landed in Aswan, we were treated with the utmost respect from the members of the Osiris team. This was my first visit to Egypt and it exceeded my expectations in large part due to Osiris Tours. The idea of touring Egypt started once my daughter learned she was slated to attend a conference in Cairo. We decided to add on a tour to visit the historic sites and learn more about the Egyptian people and culture. I investigated several tour groups and itineraries on the internet and via tripadvisor. We settled on Osiris Tours since Mahmoud, the owner currently living in Maryland, was responsive and customer-focused from the start. After lots of back and forth we worked up an 8-day customized itinerary that was a great mix of history, culture, and fun-time. Our group grew to 5 (my daughter's friends) and Mahmoud integrated the individual travel needs of each seamlessly. Given that Mahmoud lives in the US, he was able to set realistic expectations for US and European customers and given that he is a native Egyptian and former tour guide, he gave sound recommendations and provided excellent contacts and staff on the ground. We started in Cairo for a couple of days and then flew onto Aswan for a Nile cruise back to Luxor. All ground and air arrangements were provided. Escorts helped us at the airports; drivers in small vans safely transported us to all locations. Eman was our personalized tour guide in Cairo and Sam was our personalized tour guide on the Nile. Both were enthusiastic, fun and knowledgeable guides that went over and above board to tailor the days and evenings to our needs and wants. At all times during our trip we felt VERY SAFE. Some other tours were accompanied by dedicated security personnel but we did not feel the need for this. First of all, we were never in a situation where we felt uncomfortable, and even so our guides, drivers and escorts always provided us with guidance on where to go/not go, where to shop/not shop, etc. Our boat on the Nile - Movenpick Royal Lily - was very nice - great features (clean, comfortable rooms, top-deck pool), friendly staff, provided evening entretainment and served a wide range of foods that pleased everyone. On a side note - we did not follow our itinerary exactly. I had heard that this sometimes happens especially on the Nile cruise as timing changes. But while we may have missed something one day, we either did it another day or added something else another day. Overall, we had a great experience in Egypt and I would highly recommend working with Mahmoud and Osiris Tours.
