Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating this experience must have felt, and we’re sorry for the confusion. After reviewing your account, we found that there was no active SST Connect card associated with your record. Without an existing, active SST card, we are unable to process a renewal or issue a refresher-based update. Unfortunately, refresher courses can only be applied to valid SST cards already on file. Once the previous card expired, the only option available under NYC DOB guidelines is to complete the full SST course again in order to obtain a new SST Connect card. While this requirement is set by the city and not by our school, we understand how disappointing this outcome can be. To help make this right, we offered the full SST course at no additional cost, as our goal is to support you in getting properly certified and back to work as smoothly as possible. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and wish you the best moving forward.
