Thank you so much to all of you at Orthodog! My Mandy is doing amazingly well. I know this will take time for her to completely heal but I'm thrilled with her behavior. I thank the good Lord for HE has answered my prayers. Mandy is so receptive to the harness and is able to leasurely walk, something she hasn't done in weeks. Bless you all at Orthodog for taking the time to design and manufacture these harnesses to help aid in the healing process for all our dogs in need. I've already recommended your harnesses to others.

The customer service was absolutely outstanding. Initially, I ordered the wrong brace, one that actually would have cost more , and the company proactively contacted me to explain that it would not be the best option for the dog. I truly appreciated their honesty and willingness to steer me in the right direction instead of simply making a larger sale. I was also acting as the go-between for my 83-year-old parents from another state, which was not always an easy situation. Despite that, the team was consistently responsive, patient, and incredibly helpful. They reviewed photos, followed up both by phone and in writing, and guided us through the entire process. Ortho Dog’s customer service made all the difference. Without their support, the brace would have been useless. They made a difficult situation manageable, and I’m genuinely grateful for their professionalism, compassion, and expertise. I would highly recommend them.

Orthodog is a wonderful device to help your dog, if it fits. There is plenty of support available to help you place the Orthodog in the correct way, if it fits. It is quite expensive. In my case I have had to continually plead for another size to be told the one I have fits, it doesn’t. Another brace is being sent with a used, larger, leg support. I don’t understand why we are not getting a new one as we paid for one that fits. So, after the frustration of emailing and talking to a very nice woman, I have decided to do something else for my dog. Don’t let this put you off trying it for your dog. If you are lucky enough to get a good fitting, it could help your dog heal. Update: I received a new body brace which fits better than the original and the larger, used knee brace. The knee brace now fits perfectly and I feel I can confidently use the complete brace. It takes some time to play with the adjustments but well worth it. She is happier now and wagging her tail. Last Update May 24, 2026: The brace has been really supportive of my canine pal’s knee over the last couple of weeks. However, the clips that keep the straps at the right length keep opening up and loosening the support. A little frustrating and causing anxiety in my dog because I’m having to continually readjust it. So now, turning to a moulded hind leg brace .

Best Customer Service and product EVER!! We ordered the OrthoDog Cruciate Care Knee Brace for our 9 year old great dane mix, Thorin. Thorin has a CCL tear on his left knee. The customer service was exceptional, mainly due to Karen. Karen sent a personalized note with the brace, offered help with fitting, responded immediately to my email and even called me to walk me through the correct fitting steps. Thorin is doing great with his brace and is walking better every day! I highly recommend this company and thank you again Karen. You're the very best! Laura, Steve and Thorin

Dear OrthoDog, I wanted to take an opportunity to thank you for the outstanding service and product that you provide to help people and their pets heal cruciate ligament (knee tear: CCL) injuries that can happen with our beloved companions. My pup, Abraham (we usually call him Bram) started holding his back right leg up in May. Having seen this injury in other dogs, I knew immediately it was a CCL injury. Bram could not put any weight on his back leg. While thinking we would be going into our vet's office for an expensive and time-consuming recovery and surgery, I decided to check what else might be available to help Bram heal and during recovery. I found a YouTube video online suggesting that CCL injuries could be healed by using a brace designed for this purpose. This vet in the video recommended the OrthoDog brand as providing the best success due to its tested design. OrthoDogs leg brace is more expensive than other leg brace set ups. But during my research I noted that no other leg brace provided extra bracing on the uninjured leg, and this made a lot of sense to me. In for a penny, in for a pound, as it were, I decided that OrthoDog was the right choice for Bram. Also, I figured if he did eventually need the surgery then the OrthoDog brace would provide him with the best possible support during his recovery. The brace arrived quickly and I set about watching the OrthoDog videos on how to fit it properly. (PS be sure to heed OrthoDog's suggestion to fit the brace together with high-value treats -- we used pieces of cheese, and Bram raced to have his brace put on each day :) This was accompanied by instructions to send OrthoDog pictures of Bram wearing the brace so they could confirm it was correct or make clear indications what needed further adjustment to make sure the brace fitted and would do its job properly. At this point I must commend OrthoDog for their prompt, excellent and outstanding clarity on helping me fit the brace on Bram perfectly. A mere six weeks later, Bram's limp was gone completely -- no lengthy and painful surgery required. So while OrthoDog seemed a little expensive initially, it saved us thousands of dollars in surgery expenses and all that goes along with it. Needless to say, I give OrthoDog the Bram Seal of Approval, and an A+++ rating of excellence from me. OrthoDog is head and shoulders (and knees) above any other brace out there. Way too expensive and worthless! Do not buy if you want to waste $400.00. Dog refused to wear; uncomfortable fit for his leg and the company wants you to just keep adjusting because they refuse return.

What started off as a positive experience quickly turned into a horrible one. If I could give no stars I would. Our Belgian Malinois was diagnosed with two torn CCLs. My stepdaughter, who is a veterinarian, recommended Ortho Dog. Although I was shocked at the price and understood that normally they don't take returns, my husband and I went for two of the braces. We are retired and on a fixed income so this was definitely a major splurge. Regardless of if the brace worked or not I think the price is ridiculously high. We measured and worked with our dog and it was nearly impossible to put this thing on. My veterinarian stepdaughter came to help and it took three of us to get it on with our girl squealing in pain all the way. * We did send a photo of our dog when we ordered. Karen did keep asking for photos of the brace on Audrey and I repeatedly told her by the time three of us did get it on her she was squealing in pain; therefore, there was no way I could take photos. My stepdaughter examined Audrey again and determined that our dog's back anatomy is just not conducive to this type of brace. After explaining - several times - all of the above to Karen, she stood firm in her no refund policy. Makes absolutely no sense to me because these are not custom made for an individual dog - they make various different sizes. Also, if they will exchange something that has been tried on, then there is absolutely no reason why they should not accept a return for a refund. It's simply not a brace that we can use. My veterinarian stepdaughter will absolutely no longer recommend this company. We are apparently out well over $400. So I guess truly buyer beware.

I ordered the hip brace for my girl , and it helps her not limping and keep running !I am from Canada and had an incredible service before AND after the sale . Karen was translating in french for me 😉 I can't recommand enough this product from this reliable company .
