Looks like a scam, sent off swabs nearly 2 months ago,no email no contact and no results,keeps saying pending…🤬🤬🤬

My dog is 50% Ridgeback, was trying to identify the other half as she is a rescue. 8 different breeds came back, none of them Ridgeback. Impossible. They must have picked breeds for the report out of a hat. Asked for them to test another sample....tumbleweeds :(

Was told dna tests were ready. Can't access them. Have sent numerous emails, Facebook messages and phone messages, no reply on any of them. Recorded message every time. So disgusted in the customer service.

I checked the reviews and most said they get their results in 2 weeks. I've been waiting 5 weeks already and its still pending... Absolutely ridiculous. I bought this for an accidental litter and to see what the puppies are before re homing them. Looks like they'll be in their new homes before i get the result so it was a waste of money and time. Do not recommend unless your just curious as to what your dog is mixed with and have all the time in the world to wait for the results. I should have went with embark.

Unfourtunately it seems that the Orivet DNA test is a scam. Their web site would not let me register the two sets of three (total of six) test swabs. A reply from Orivet asked for pretty much the details about my dog that I expected them to provide. Unfortunately I did not check reviews of Orivet before I wasted my money. The reviews reveal that a common report item is 50% mixed breed. Wow!!! Who would have thought that a mixed breed dog might be of mixed breeds!!! It is not worth the effort to swab my dog (six times) so the kit goes in the bin.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are scam artists. I got a kit for Christmas. After they lost the first sample and they ignored many emails, they finally sent another kit. They lost that sample as well. They again ignored my requests via email for some way to resolve this. So I contacted them on their Instagram. Suddenly they "found" the sample and gave me a link to follow the 10 days countdown until the results were ready. I told them I didn't believe them but fine. I watched the days count down... And when it was over I now find myself blocked on their Instagram and the page with my information at their site is blank. This was the only thing I asked for at Christmas and this company ruined it. And this is not cheap so they are just a bunch of thieves.
