Embarrassing quality control. Crickets from Customer Service
I ordered the new 46mm Jack Daniels Barrel watch back in early May. As these were new releases, shipping was to occur on May 30th. They were sold via a clear Father’s Day promotion, which is June 16th. May 30th came and went. They then updated the banner to ship June 15th, acting like nothing ever happened. My watch did finally arrive June 14th. Photos show the state of it. The band wood is gouged (not scratched, gouged) on both sides of the face, and the adjustment knob has been broken due to the technician forcing a huge piece of plastic into the space to stop the watch. The pictures say it all to, well, anyone besides Original Grain. The customer service rep wants me to send the watch back for them to “review” it for damage, and then they will choose whether or not to replace it. Icing on the cake is them saying they will take “7-10 business days after receiving” to make their decision. What an absolute joke! After expressing my disgust, it has now been going on 3 weekdays without a reply. This is after already being the victim of a bait and switch on a “mystery watch” I bought. They neglected to ship a watch from the collection I paid for for over a month, and when they apparently sold out, they secretly updated my order history to show I actually bought from a different mystery batch. Thankfully I had already screenshot the options from my original order. At this point I’ll just get the money back from my bank. They have zero tolerance for scams like this.
