Wrong part in my order and no apology
I ordered a Bosch three-wiper set that was clearly advertised as including a 26-inch driver-side front wiper, an 18-inch passenger-side front wiper, and a 14-inch rear wiper.
Unfortunately, that is not what I received. Instead, I was given two rear wipers and one passenger-side front wiper, with the essential 26-inch driver-side front wiper missing.
I had already sent someone back to the store twice costing me his hourly wage trying to get this sorted out. I was leaving immediately to drive to Texas, I simply could not make yet another trip back or wait for the correct three-piece set to come into stock.
I therefore had no choice but to purchase the 26-inch driver-side front wiper separately, costing me approximately an additional $30, purely because the original order had been incorrectly fulfilled.
What made the experience particularly disappointing was the response from the manager, John. He tried to say I had ordered 2 rear wipers and a passenger wiper in the package when my receipt clearly stated otherwise. John was extremely unhelpful, offered no apology, and instead of taking responsibility for the item being sold, he tried to suggest that I had ordered the wrong product. However, my receipt clearly confirmed exactly what I had ordered.
Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that. What I found unacceptable was the lack of assistance in correcting a mistake that was clearly not mine, particularly after two return trips and the additional expense in hourly salary for my assistant and being forced to purchase a new wiper it caused me.
A very disappointing experience, particularly when a simple apology and a little helpful customer service would have left me with a better feeling about O'Reilly Auto Parts in Englewood.

Augustus was only one working there
Augustus was only one working there. His coworker does this (i think) he slept in. Said he'd be there in a 1/2 hour. Checked in for his help on wiper blade installation. Still not there 45 min later. It would be too busy by when he would arrive. I cannot count on Mount Vernon's employee help. Augustus gave me the wiper blade info. He Is VERY GOOD AT HIS JOB AND MANAGER SOME DAY.

I have ordered several times for brake…
I have ordered several times for brake pads for my 2016 Harley Davidson Street Glide either on line or in the store. Today I have ordered the same thing and the brake pads were not right. Online and in the store computer has the brake pads but not the right ones. I don’t know why but for some reason they changed the part number and pads. For the compatibility for the Harley Davidson motorcycles listed they will not work or fit. I highly recommend that the individuals who are in charge of purchase orders need to review their system and make the necessary adjustments

Help has no clue
I used to go to O'Reilly's because they had employees that understood parts.
Now days, they barely know the difference between a spark plug and a lug nut. Today, lady at the counter barely spoke English and seemed confused about me picking up a "special order" part that came in.

Today I brought a battery from my golf…
Today I brought a battery from my golf cart (full size like a car battery) into the O'Reilly store on Bell Av. in Surprise Arizona. The battery is quite heavy especially for a 73 year old. I struggled getting it out of my car and especially trying to get into the door of the store. To my surprise when I entered the store I found 2 young men employees watching my every move, when I finally got through the door one of the men slapped the counter and said "put-er" right here. I did. I bought my new battery and repeated my actions struggling to get back out the door and into my car carrying the battery! I guess they were too busy watching me to help. a sorry crew you have there Mr. O'Eeilly.

To be fair this rating is for the west…
To be fair this rating is for the west haven ut OREILLY. It never ceases to amaze me how horrible their lack of customer service is. They never acknowledge you when entering the store and you can be standing right next to an employee while looking for something and never ever being asked if you need help with anything! Why do I bother going there you might ask? It's conveniently inconvenient being closer to home for a quick tool unfortunately. Every other OReilly that I go to has fairly good customer service thankfully.

Another big company that really doesn't care about customer service!
I recently ordered some clearance items from their website. I was pleased with that order so I placed a second order. I assumed that although they were clearance tools, they would at least be new. WRONG! I could see some dust and wear, even surface rust from sitting in a warehouse for years. I was sent a ratchet that was worn out and was caked with dirt and grease and locked up. I also received a used pair of pliers that were beat up and the teeth were worn down. When I asked for replacements or a refund I got the "Sorry, all clearance sales are final" runaround. They offered me a complimentary $10 gift card out of the goodness of their black little hearts. I explained to them that the tools cost me $17 (not including shipping) so $10 wouldn't cut it. They basically said "take it or leave it". I opted for "leave it" since O'reilly's will never get another dollar from me. I won't even get into how frustrating it is to shop at their local store!
