This review was originally 1 star. The website promises 24 hour turnover. However, it appears that they are slammed with requests and not enough translators to meet the demand. After multiple attempts to contact them, and disputing charges w/ my CC company and making me worry about this being a scam website, they *finally* responded. They were nice enough to send me the translation even though I had disputed the charges, which I appreciate. I contacted the CC company to reverse the charge dispute. So, if you are pressed on time and need a quick turnaround, I wouldn't trust orbit translations. But if you contact them early enough - they appear to be worth the cost.

I had a 1 page document to translate from German to English. Not only did i not receive it after 5 days (and counting) but they ignored 2 emails enquiring about the status. Totally useless and now I am behind because i had to find another company.

We are happy to find Orbit translations, they are professional, friendly and the prices are reasonable.

We use Orbit for all of the translations for our clients. Their service is quick and customer service is fantastic. We highly recommend using them!

In the end we got we needed. In fact it took 3 days and an emailed request to receive it. Was only one page. We were told this was due to the weekend but on the website it doesn’t say that anywhere and in fact it says 24 hour guarantee. Once sent our document there was a spelling mistake which we had to ask for a corrected version. Not upfront about turnaround time and proofreading seems mediocre. Was given a 15% off code for the inconvenience but all we really wanted was a service that delivers on what the advertised.

I paid for translation services on 08/03/2022. Today it is 08/08/2022. I have been messaging them for 3 days now, trying to call them. They would either say to wait an hour, or they would stop responding in the chat. I don't know if this is a scam or if they are having some sort of huge issue within their organization. All I am saying is that if they cannot provide services, they need to shut down. EDIT: I pushed to get my translation expedited, and received it an hour after this initial review. It seems that they may be understaffed or may have an unusually high volume of work. I changed my score from a 1 to a 3, because they did attempt and succeeded in helping me.

The Orbit Translations team was helpful and professional. The translation of my documents took longer than expected - perhaps due to the language pair (Latin to Russian) - but Charlene helped to facilitate the process, accommodate changes that I needed to the translations, and ensure that I received them in a reasonable time. The notarized translations were accepted by my university, so I am satisfied with the results! Thank you for your service!
