Optum really lost me as a patient today. I have been trying to get an appointment. Sick with a bad flu infection. Made si many calls to get in the earlier appointment is within over a month. I'm sick now not next 4 or 6 weeks from know. I don't know about anyone else but going to the urgent care that is not affiliated with Optum sucks. At least Kaiser has there own urgent care and all your information to begin with.

When health insurance stop overriding doctors and allowing patients to rely on a medical team that is not influenced by what insurers dictate for how the patient will receive medical assistance, people will live longer and healthier lives. The root problem is that these insurers are not doctors, they have no training in that field and should do what they are paid to do. The bottom line is that it is all about money and keeping it in the insurance pockets. Something needs to be done to stop the early deaths of people so the CEO's can live in big, nice houses and drive fancy cars. Killing people is a crime and insurance companies should be charged with murder and not be rewarded with millions of dollars.

While the mobile provider was fine, waiting a month now for test referral and gift card. Can’t get through by phone. Can’t access patient portal without a code because can’t reach them by phone. Was told they provide this wellness service for my UHC Medicare Advantage plan but what good is it if there is no follow through on tests, etc.

I have been trying to get a physical check from this HSA bank, as I closed my account in February, but they are refusing to send it. I have had to call 3 times now and the first two times were 30 minutes each time to manually verify me and promised I wouldn't have to call again and I called today and in order to proceed I had to say the last transaction made on that account, even though I had a case ID number that didn't matter and I asked for a supervsior and the lady refused to get me to one when I asked twice firmly. Guess I am losing a 615.73 dollar paycheck. it has been over a month of trying to get this check

I had a virtual visit scheduled. I received a text to call if I didn't receive the meeting text. I called and then she emailed a link that never was delivered. After being told that I didn't know what I was doing she had tech support call me. Tech support was very nice and agreed that I had no problem with connection. 2 hours into this nightmare I was told I needed to reschedule but no openings until July. This is 5/20. What a joke!

I have had 2 C&P exams as a Veteran with Optum - both times I was in their office for less than 5 minutes - denied and both times overturned by Higher Level Review. Today, I received a bill for $150 from an X-Ray that Optum had me take for a C&P exam I had. Now, I am spending half a day (Not finished yet) trying to get an 'Authorization' for the X-Ray before it goes to collection.

I had a medical bill that was sent to collections without warning and now Ohio Optum has ZERO information on who to call, the company name, how to contact them, nothing. I now have to wait to hopefully be contacted by the collections agency before something possibly comes back on my credit. I have no other debts and was given no opportunity to pay before they decided to send this off. I am extremely unhappy and horrified at this service and our countries medical system.
