This company has the the worst customer service in supervisors I have ever seen they talk to you horribly they're disrespectful they're not helpful they talk over you that they try to perceive like they have a lot of power and if you make them mad they just hang up on you do not do business with them they lied to me about a gift card they told me I would have a $200 gift card they sent me a $50 virtual card which I didn't even ask for a virtual card and now they won't send me one through the mail and they told me that I selected a virtual card which I don't even know how to use the supervisors suck if you have a problem you never get it solved because the supervisor suck

Hard to be constructive when I have nothing positive to say except that I feel sorry for the people who work there. Optum's FSA program is a perfect example of what is broken about the US health care system. No document good enough to substantiate a claim---for example, I had to substantiate that my claim for prescription eyeglasses was legit by submitting not just the receipt for the glasses, or the receipt for the optometrist exam (the latter done in house at my HMO by the way) but the actual prescription. Oh, and if there is any claim for which they want additional documentation, they will suspend you Optima debit card. None of this is worth the tax savings. None of this is worth the billions they charge to administer FSA and HSA plans. A big, frustrating scam. Oh, and they claimed I had spent down all of my account last year, when in fact I had a balance and lost close to $400 via denied claims they recouped through deductions on my paychecks.

I have now been on hold for 1 hour and 5 minutes trying to reach someone in Mount Kisco, New York for what I consider an important matter that needs to be facilitated my my doctor’s office. When someone answers, they will NOT be from her office and they will put me through hoops. OPTUM IS AWFUL. Switch if you can. My doctor is brilliant but she is retiring. So many of her patients are leaving when she does.

Bellingham, WA clinic. 1 star is far too generous. I'm on my 5th doctor in 8 years. In a live appointment, I sit behind a computer monitor while the Dr. asks routine questions and types into my file. The only things physically checked are my lungs and blood pressure. When I have a specific problem or need, it's minimized if not ignored completely. In fairness, it was easy to tell that all but 1 of the 5 doctors really wanted to practice medicine to the best of their abilities. It was also painfully easy to tell that corporate policies severely constrained those desires. I'm not treated, I'm "assembly lined" in and out. I tried scheduling an in-person visit. The earliest possible was 3 & 1/2 months in the future. Tele visits have only a month or so wait, but how does a doctor examine a cyst on my leg via tele? It's a shame. The doctors want to do good, but as 2 doctors told me, Optum policies made it impossible for them to continue working there. Yes, I'm looking for another PCP.

I have been trying forv2 weeks to get on my account and I have used almost all names and passwords. I usually get someone limited in English language and they almost never trasfer me. My medication is all messed up,

it is impossible to get an appointment with anyone in Optum. I need to sse a neurologist appt in Oct, a 4 month wait. Have skin issues, possibly skin cancer, appointment in Dec a 6 month wait. I went through 3 dermatologists in 4 years. They all left Optum. Next appointment for my primary, next Apri 2025. My primary I have been seeing for years, left Optum. Their organization is terrible. I have to look for all new doctors and start over again this sucks...

I went to urgent care in Poughkeepsie and was unfortunately treated by MaryLou Killian FNP. Zero bedside manner. She was miserable and didn't care what I had to say. Horrible experience. I left in tears.

Optum EASTl NJ is the worst. Their system provides tons of your personal information, but try to reach them by phone and you're screwed. Office visit with GP to renew statins, $480. Also, there is a $50 add for complex E/M? Phone system has kicked me out 6 times today. I've also send an email. Appt next week will be cancelled, need to find a new doctor. Optum has ruined Stafford Medical in NJ 08050
