There margin fee is way too high
There margin fee is way too high. What I remember it was $600. I started with $1000 account knowing that I only need to have $100 to get it started but when you’re trading around it’s not clear that the margin is $600 and from shopping around at other brokerage $600 is way too high. AMP is way better. what type of brokerage owner charges $600 to margin? A POS… especially to traders that are looking to Optimus because they have small accounts.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns about the margin at Optimus Futures. We sincerely apologize if there was any confusion or misunderstanding regarding our margin requirements. We aim to be as transparent and clear as possible with our fee structure. Our margin requirements are typical $500 for standard contracts and $50 for micro contracts on indices like ES/MES. This can vary if trading is conducted on software outside of Optimus Flow due to differing requirements by various platform connections. We understand that each trader’s needs and financial situations are unique, and we strive to accommodate a diverse range of clients, from those with smaller accounts to larger, more established traders. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and are sorry to see you go. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us to improve our services. We need to point out that our priority is to support responsible trading practices, and margin requirements are a part of that, especially to prevent over-leveraging accounts. We respect every trader's choice of brokerage and are glad you have found an option that suits your trading needs. We wish you success in your trading endeavors and hope you achieve the results you are looking for. Remember, successful trading is not just about leverage but also about strategy, risk management, and continuous learning. If you ever have any questions or decide to reconsider our services, we are here to help. Best, Optimus Futures
