Great experience and clear communication I’ve had a really positive experience working with OpenTrain AI. The admin running our group has been clear about expectations and what we need to do, which makes getting started and completing the work much easier. I appreciate having straightforward instructions instead of having to guess what’s expected. It took about two weeks for my payment to reach Stripe, and I’m still waiting for the bank transfer, but I don’t want to confuse that final step with OpenTrain AI not paying me because it’s up to the client. The money is in my Stripe account. Overall, I think OpenTrain AI is a great place to take on projects, and I’d happily work with them again.

The platform is a 100% scam. Those of you giving 4 to 5 Stars rating must have been paid to do so. Imagine applying for "ghost jobs". You'd apply for a job and finish the screening, only to remain under review or awaiting review for months without response on whether you Did Not Qualify, or you were not selected, or you got the job. Getting rejected is by far better than no response, for months or even years. Before now, they'd redirect you to the project's platform for application and screenings, but now, they do the screening by live interview, where they steal your data and human feedback on the interviews to train AI on human analytics and other purposes. Support? That one, they say they reply in minutes, but the minutes is ages(forever). No response. Talking from pure and honest experience. That's why I stopped opening the site and even unsubscribed from receiving their emails on new opportunities. The best thing is to take the platform down for good.

Good luck if you have any issues on this platform as support is non existent and doesn't reply. After going through several interviews I was asked to verify my ID (despite being on the platform for over a year). The ID verification didn't work and wouldn't let me a cess it, so so messaged support via chat. It says they normally take a few minutes to respond. This was during business hours. 48 hours later and still no response.

I feel highly deceived by this client's bait-and-switch tactics. The job was initially offered as a $4/hour contract, but the actual tasks only allowed a maximum of 60 seconds of recording. Completing all 5 assigned tasks took nowhere near an hour, making the "hourly rate" an illusion to secure cheap labor. Furthermore, the agreed $4 rate was suddenly downgraded to a $2 payout under the unannounced excuse of a "pilot phase." Communication and coordination with the admin were incredibly unprofessional. On the first day, I received urgent messages asking me to be on standby late at night (11 PM my time), only to be casually informed the following day that the project was actually still in the preparation phase. To make matters worse, the client abruptly demanded I sign a document surrendering full ownership of my files to the project, despite providing absolutely zero clarity or guarantees regarding my payment. I strongly advise other freelancers to avoid this client to protect their time and work.

Website is shitty, has a lot of bugs, it looks like their main aim is to steal your personal information for training or even worse, sell your analytics. Be careful!
