I’ve been buying ONYC hair for at least 15 years, and I keep coming back because of the quality. I’ve tried different textures, but the relaxed straight and kinky curly textures are my favorites. The hair lasts me for years and blends so naturally that everyone thinks it’s my own. My former hairstylist introduced me to ONYC, and I’m still thankful for that recommendation. Their customer service is amazing, too!

This is honestly one of the worst…
This is honestly one of the worst companies I could have ever ordered hair from, I did research on this company check the reviews which seem to be pretty good before I made my purchase because this hair is pretty expensive. I spent over $700 and was greatly disappointed. The hair was supposed to last up to at least one year from what I had read, within the first month, the hair started to tangle really bad and shedding horribly which I was very shocked about, a waste of money gone down the drain for no reason ,only if I had known I would have never brought hair from this company.😡First off the email that I use is the name I use for confidentiality reasons , I have no reason to lie about hair that I bought from your company that was garbage hair and yes, I’m very pissed, especially when it’s cost almost $800 of my hard earned money that I work for ,I have the receipts in my email and I have the order number. I have everything that shows that I ordered from this company last month to be an exact, which was 3 bundles of the kinky straight hair and let me also put my name on here since you said that there’s no records of it ,(FAREEDAH MAINGOT )now go search it up now and if you need the receipt, I’ll put that on here too.

We completely understand why you are upset. Spending close to $800 on hair with the expectation that you are investing in something beautiful, high-quality, and long-lasting, only to begin experiencing tangling and shedding so soon afterward, would understandably be extremely frustrating.
What was especially concerning to us is that your Trustpilot review was the first time our team became aware that you were experiencing any issue with your hair. We reviewed your order and our customer-service records, and we could not find any previous communication regarding the tangling or shedding you described.
We sincerely wish we had heard from you when you first began noticing the problem, particularly since you mentioned that it started within the first month. That would have given our team an opportunity to speak with you, understand exactly what was happening, and investigate the situation while you were experiencing it.
At ONYC, we do not believe that being a good company means a customer will never experience a concern. With any product, an issue can occasionally arise. What matters tremendously to us is what happens afterward—whether the customer feels heard, whether we take the time to understand what happened, and whether we genuinely make an effort to help.
You mentioned that you researched our company and read our customer reviews before deciding to purchase from us. We truly appreciate the trust you placed in ONYC when you made that decision, and we are very sorry that your experience has left you feeling disappointed.

I honestly cannot believe I have been a customer of ONYC Hair for about 18 years. I was one of Thelma’s early clients, back when she was still doing hair from her basement, so I have truly watched the company grow over the years. I have worn so many of their textures and products—FroOut Kinky Straight, Relaxed Permed Straight, Kinky 3B-3C, curly and Afro textures, extensions, closures, wigs, and more. After all this time, what keeps me coming back is the consistency. The quality has always been excellent, the textures look and feel like what is advertised, and I know I can trust what I am buying. Their customer service has also remained dependable throughout the years, which is not something you can say about every company as they grow. Eighteen years of loyalty speaks for itself. I have continued to support ONYC because they have continued to deliver quality hair and great service. Definitely an A+ company and one I would happily recommend.

I’m so glad I found this hair. I'd been searching everywhere for a good kinky straight texture that actually looks like a natural blowout. I wanted something that didn’t have that strange line or look too processed, so I did my research and ordered from a few different companies to compare. ONYC ended up being the one that stood out for me. The hair I purchased from the other companies did not last the same way, but the ONYC hair has maintained its quality and still looks beautiful like when I first received it. You can really tell the difference when you have good quality hair in your hands. I know the price may make some people hesitate, but I would rather pay for something I can keep using than keep replacing cheaper hair. I also love that it's a Black-owned small business. Customer service has been wonderful whenever I have needed help, and shipping has always been fast for me. I have ordered and had my package arrive within just a few days. Based on my own experience, I would definitely recommend giving them a try. I’m very happy I found them.

Being a customer for more than 16 years has shown me that consistency honesty and quality still exist. I truly appreciate receiving personal calls about my orders because it makes me feel valued and heard instead of waiting days for a reply like most places. The hair has always been excellent and on the rare occasions something needed to be adjusted you handled it with patience and professionalism until everything was right. I have worn the blowout texture the kinky curly texture and the relaxed hair and every one has been reusable long lasting and worth every dollar.
