I was so pleasantly surprised by Onset's customer support. I borrowed some old discontinued Onset data-loggers from a colleague for my research. I bought a new adapter cord from Onset to try to get them connected to my computer. I had a little trouble getting them connected, and trepidatiously e-mailed Onset asking for advice. I expected them to tell me they only support their latest products and I should buy new ones. Instead they quickly figured out which adapter I need and arranged a return and exchange. That level of customer service means when I'm ready to buy new data loggers, I'm a lot more likely to stick with Onset.

The MX1101 model makes data collecting painless compared to the UX100-011. I use these devices on complex bridge structures and access is usually half the battle. No more lugging around a laptop and USB cable to pull data. Everything can be done on my iPhone!
