** 11/12/25 UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW WRITTEN 10/28/25*** Online Orchards sent me a replacement for the item missing in my order, I just received and am please they have made it right! They didn't respond to my emails, but they fulfilled the order! I ordered three items from OnlineOrchards.com. This was my third order from them, the first two going well, no complaints. This time, however, I only received two of three items ordered. Upon discovering the missing item, I wrote two separate emails to them the day I received my shipment requesting they follow up on the missing item. It has been a week, and not a single reply! So disappointed!

I've seen quite a few negative reviews, mostly related to poor product quality and poor customer service, so I wanted to honestly share my experience. Ordered 3 Halls Hardy Almond trees last spring(2023), they arrived with the roots cut fairly short, packed in damp straw, wrapped in plastic, 90% of the leaves had dropped off. I didn't think they'd live, gave them an hour soak in water, planted in to topsoil/compost mix, and kept them well watered. They ended up producing growth within about 3wks and put on 2-3 feet of growth last season, they are still thriving this year. This spring (2024) I ordered 3 more, plus 3 dwarf gala apple trees. The shipping/packaging method was much improved, in pots w/ moist potting soil wrapped in plastic, the leaves were not even wilted. These trees are also thriving with good soil, nutrients, watering and mulch around base. I gave 4 stars, because I've not had any experience with customer service, however It's worth noting the improved shipping method and the success of the trees.

I ordered two cherry trees. They came very well secured in hay and moisture holding gels and plastic, I planted them and they sprouted very well. The next tree is Prune trees, the roots were cut too close to trunk, no feathery roots, and it is taking longer to sprout, I am still waiting, luckily it is raining quite often , so I am hoping it will gets its footing. I emailed the company about the prune trees, let us see how they make it right. So far I am confidant. let us see how it flourishes, I will write a follow up. It is very convenient and smart way to make orchard at home with their support. Love it, Judy P

Ordered a dwarf Hosui Asian Pear tree. Arrived in a few days; roots were packed well in moist straw; box and tree were undamaged. Looking forward to seeing my little tree flourish.

The packaging arrived in carboard boxes undamaged. the trees were packed carefully. the root system was wrapped in wet staw in plastic wrap. There were no broken limbs.

My experience was great with my order. My cherry tree came fast and it was a very vital tree. There were absolutely no brown stems at all, the trunk and branches were a healthy size but I especially liked the way the roots were packed. They were still moist when I removed the packaging from it. I couldn't have asked for a better tree and service!

Ordered dwarf Santa Rosa plum. It arrived as described . Some problem with shipping company but tree seems to have survived. Placed order through Home Depot.

My son ordered two Castle Spire Holly Shrub Vigorous Grower Shrubs for us and they are very nice looking. Can't wait for the plants to bloom berries! The plants were just planted a week ago, but seem to be thriving. Shipping was as expected. The only thing that I would have liked better is if they were wrapped better for protection during shipping. They were a little ragged looking when they got to his home. Glad to see that they seem pretty hardy. I would order again.
