Everyone I had direct contact with we’re excellent. The underwriters were a bit of a pain. For example, they asked me for proof that we were current on our HOA fees and then, after I went through the effort to provide the documentation for that proof I was told that the underwriters would have to contact the HOA to see if we were current!

My father and I worked with Eric Gutierrez on the reverse mortgage process. There were multiple hurdles, however Eric helped us every step of the way. We couldn't have asked for a more professional, polite, and overall nicer person to help us. No matter the question, Eric was there to answer. Highly recommended!

The approval for a reverse mortgage took longer than I expected. It was well over 2 months. The financial information requested was shuttled around to over 5 different people. Further, the information required seemed much more detailed than necessary for this product. During the process I heard a radio ad several times that said the process would be easy with someone assisting every step of the way for the parent company. That was not my experience with this division.

They worked exceptionally hard and did wonderful work for me making sure I got a terrific deal, understood everything and was perfectly comfortable with it all before signing.
