Melissa and Abby were wonderful. The stars given are theirs. However someone in your underwriting department just did not want to do this loan for reasons that I suspect but can't prove. Forgetting to cross a T or dot an I caused endless delays. An account opened for tires with a balance of $250 brought everything to a halt. We have outstanding credit, high balances that are paid in full every month, no debt to speak of. Everything was exactly right yet someone kept finding another reason to delay it. The loan finally closed three MONTHS after starting the process. By the way, any document asked for was scanned and sent the same day it was requested. I understand the second appraisal slowed things down a little but there was still something else going on here. Would I recommend One Reverse? Unfortunately I would have a hard time doing that. I am just glad it's over.

Too many people involved. Every time we called there was a different person makes you unsure of if they knew about you loan application etc.

Our Sales Rep (Jonathan...very professional... his assistant (Melanie) seemed to have too much going on with the business or her life... after Jonathan turned the follow up process over to Melanie, the process dramatically slowed down... we were required to provide much of the same information over again on serveral issues. At times we were wondering if they were purposely slowing the process and were thinking that maybe from Rocket Mortgage perspective we just didn't qualify or their were other issues going on that we were not privy too..in the end we did qualify and the process was completed. Delays were partially our fault as we were dealing with a wedding and were traveling... As far as rating the service we have no other company to compare to as this is our first and last experience with a reverse mortgage process.

I started out with one person and was switched to another and then another and then once again another. I had three contact numbers and it was difficult at times to reach any of them and the time it took to close was absolutely ridiculous. I feel closing cost are way too high and some of the charges are way too high, but at this point we have gone too far and long to back out now. My original person, makya morris was great and Terry Cooper was great too but there is a lot left to be desired with this company. But good news is we finally closed after 3 months...after being told 45 days...just hope our funds will be deposited when said. In closing if this company could speed up the process it would be so much better.

This is the longest closing I have ever seen. It seems as if HUD was trying to draw it out as long as possible.

Agents were friendly and cooperative. Process was explained in detail. Only problem I encountered was that the application process was too long and information required was excessive.

This has been a miserable experience, due to delay after delay. We started this process in late June and are just now getting finished.

Frustrated, time consuming. Took longer to close than planned, and difficult to reach Marcus and Claudia several times. Promises made that was not completed on a few things. I did not seem to feel like I was a priority any longer as much in this last month.
