A very fine service that is always there to help when an issue arises.

Program works pretty good. Sometimes the drop down menu does not have the document that really pertains to what we are filing but we can work around it. Would have gotten 5 stars if we did not have to enter Yes or No for 1st Appearance fees every single time we try to file a subsequent document. This causes us to stop, look up when it was paid and then enter. Once we have done a first filing in this matter and answered the question it should not come back up for every subsequent filing.

Five stars to One Legal for its standard upload to One Legal and regular email filing and return of conformed copy. But in L.A. County, uploading to One Legal for filing in an outlying courthouse requires driving the filing to another location to file is expensive and time-consuming before receiving a conformed copy. Even more troublesome was uploading to One Legal for filing in San Diego in a case that was filed so long ago it was not amenable to email filing. Because it was an unusual situation that seemed to confuse One Legal personnel, it took a long time to get done. We found out the hard way that physical filing in the main courthouse was required for the filing. Caused some heartburn. But as I said, filings that fit standard operating procedure get five stars from me.

We've used One Legal for many years, starting with when they were called "Fax & File". They make filing easy and painless. Sometimes there are some problems with e-filing. It's difficult to get filed copies of your documents back from some counties like SF and Alameda, and it would be helpful if One Legal could follow up more to get filed copies back to us faster. I sometimes find out something has been filed before One Legal gets it back to me. I also wish you could call the local office directly instead of going through the 800 number. All in all though, I'm very pleased with One Legal.
