I tried to file a Proof of Service by mail in the Santa Clara County Superior Court-- 47 cents on the envelope and 47 cents on the return envelope. Rejected by the Court. Had to use an electronic filing service with all the fees and a 40 minute experience being told how to use efilng. The system sucks. The old way worked fine for me. Notwithstanding that the court is in Silicone Valley, the court clerk should have a sole practitioner, senior citizen desk.
