Missing Features, Poor Communication, and a Forgotten WXT
Since Wirex moved to the new platform, far too many things have changed. I get the impression that the transition was rushed, because the new app still has quite a few limitations and feels incomplete. With the various updates, they are slowly bringing back features that were already available in the old app. There are still no notifications for token price increases or drops, no Apple Pay support, and no option to directly swap one token for another. It is disappointing to see features that customers already had before now missing from the new platform. And then there’s WXT, Wirex’s native token, which now seems to have been left to fend for itself, with virtually no communication. A token that played an important role in Wirex’s history now seems to be of little interest to the company, while everything appears to revolve around the new WPAY token. This lack of communication only adds to my disappointment as a customer. To make matters worse, Wirex appears to want to respond to my Trustpilot review but is asking me for a support ticket number. I haven’t opened a support ticket because I’m not requesting technical assistance or reporting a specific issue. I simply shared my personal experience and honest opinion of Wirex on Trustpilot. I believe customers should be able to express their disappointment and share their experiences without having to open a support ticket first. A review is an opportunity to provide feedback about the overall experience with a company, not necessarily a request for customer support. Personally, under these conditions, I wouldn’t invest another cent in Wirex, and I would think twice before recommending the platform to anyone. I sincerely hope the company starts listening to its existing customers, improves the new platform, and provides more transparency and communication regarding the future of WXT.
