Bad Customer Service
The company came out and evaluated my situation and turned it in. But NOTHING has been done and NO communication has been made to me. I called a couple weeks ago and was told my case is on hold. Could not tell me anything else. Crickets ever since. NOT good customer service.

Your insurance coverage sucks
I find out today from the heating and cooling person that our furnace repair will not be covered under my plan with you. Why do I pay you $600/year to not cover what needs to be done? I've never had issues in the past getting my repairs covered but now I do. It's not worth it to me to have this coverage if my plan isn't going to fix it.

Beginning August 18,2026 when I…
Beginning August 18,2026 when I reported a sewer line back up into my living area nothing has been resolved. I have been given three (3) different claim numbers, discussed my problem with 14 separate agents, 4 supervisors and written a letter to the president of Oncourse.
At my expense I solved the immediate problem and paid for the service after being advised by Tamara ( Oncourse employee) to submit proof of payment to claims and disbursement division located in Naperville, Ill. I was also requested to email a proof of payment to OHS Customerescalation1@oncourse .com. I was advised that KEEpe sent a representative from Flint to survey my situation. The report indicated the problem was fixed. The individual who arrived at my house had no ID, no proof of company he represented and no tools. I was also presented an opportunity to have the problem repaired at my expense.
Wednesday 9/30 I was contacted by Herbert ( supervisor) from Oncourse. I was advised any needed repairs from my inside facilities to the City connection was covered by my policy. Herbert also advised me the claims department approved payment for the service I performed by a local plu7mbing company.
Herbert also advised me I would receive an email confirming our conversation.
As of now crickets. I have not received any notification as promised.
If this isn't a con job then I don't know what is.
PS There is more to the story. I was advised by Herbert and other supervisors that an external disc drive could not be received by Oncourse via UPS or Fed Ex. How is that possible. The disc I attempted to email to OHS.customerescelerations1 show a graphic camera view of the sewer line problems. Alexis from the Oncourse president's office also reached out to express her concern.
When I returned her call I was transferred to a robot asking how I rated the Oncourse service. Really?

Just awful
Just awful. It's a scam. Raw sewage flooding into my home. Called 5 days in a row. No response. Just daily promises that some action would be imminent. Excuses and to be honest brutal deflections and obvious intent to avoid costs as I was using insurance, Please save yourself some real pain.

Accuracy is just a important!
The customer service representative at Pivotal told me the my situation was covered.
When I spoke with the contractor (electrician) I was informed that my IS NOT covered.
So, while the literal customer service was good, the information provided was NOT good.
Accuracy is just a important!
Very disappointing... 😞

Buyers beware
I first started using this company a few decades ago when they were known as Nicor Services. At the time, their service was exemplary, and I referred many of my friends to them. However, when the name changed to Pivotal Home Solutions, the quality of service began to decline, and the monthly warranty plans grew expensive.
Now that the company has rebranded as OnCourse Home Solutions, the situation has become completely unacceptable. Service calls are routinely canceled automatically. On multiple occasions, I have called on the day of a scheduled appointment only for a customer service representative to tell me no service was scheduled. Even after rescheduling, I faced the exact same issue on the new dates.
My experience with trying to replace my furnace highlights their poor business practices. I requested an installation estimate from OnCourse, but out of curiosity, I checked with other vendors. The quotes I received from competitors were a few thousand dollars cheaper. Wanting to give OnCourse a chance, I asked if they would honor their price-match guarantee to beat the lowest bid. They never responded.
Most recently, I received a letter stating that my monthly warranty premium would increase by 67%. This new rate is 50% higher than the most expensive plan listed on their official website. When I called to question this, I was simply told that this was the current rate. After receiving no further response from the service team, I emailed the Vice President. I then received a call from an individual claiming to be a manager, who rigidly insisted that the 67% increase was correct. As the conversation became increasingly unprofessional, I instructed her to cancel my warranty.
Although I received a cancellation confirmation via email that same day promising a follow-up notice by postal mail, a few weeks have passed and nothing has arrived. Furthermore, instead of issuing a prorated refund for the remainder of the month, OnCourse Home Solutions has continued to charge my credit card.
In summary, my experience with OnCourse Home Solutions has been utterly pathetic. The service is unreliable, the warranty pricing is unreasonably high, and the management is the worst I have ever encountered. I am sharing this review so that current and future customers can make an informed decision before choosing OnCourse Home Solutions.
