Olive Oil JonesOlive Oil Jones is seven different early-harvest unfiltered olive oils. Same growers, same labor, same mills as last season and the year before. OOJ imports huge barrels of these oils from Italy, Spain and Portugal to its South Bronx warehouse. This is where we pump and pack hand-bottled oils when your order comes in. We are old-school; no oil is pre-bottled. We are hands on. Our oils are waiting for you, billowing with fragrance and freshness. We also import and sell select vinegars from Italy and Spain that are made by small companies that specialize in artisanal products and that we want to use ourselves. The coffee we import from Sicily is slow roasted, rich and has a seductive aroma.

Steve Jenkins' taste and expertise are phenomenal. While we have our favorites, we have loved everyone of the oils and vinegars he has chosen. And the tasting kits are perfect gifts for friends who love great food! We trust him to be our guide to great culinary experiences. Thank you Steve!

Quality, knowledge, selection and shipping/packaging far above anyone else. I have been buying for about a year, and I feel fortunate to have discovered them. If you want the best, you have arrived! (I am not sure why they posted my name as “Code.” It is Mike Swanson.

Anyone who remembers walking into Fairway on the UWS back in the day knows that Steve Jenkins enriched countless lives by sharing his passion for cheese with New Yorkers. When many thought that cheese came pre-sliced in plastic packets, his wonderful signs introduced us to a wider, tastier world. His new venture is as thoughtfully conceived as you'd expect. A joy to discover and share.

I have been buying boutique olive oil from specialty stores for years and thought I knew what good was. OOJ's Siena Tuscan oil is a different stratosphere of quality. It's so good that I use it to finish everything instead of reserving it for special occasions (which also ensures it will stay fresh since I'll use it up faster). Split a liter with a friend. You can thank me later.
