After having damaged my hair (hair extensions) I was adviced to start using Olaplex. I did 1&2 at a hair salon and started using 3,4&5 at home. After about 5/6 weeks my scalp felt extremely dry, now all my hair has snapped or fallen out (with the root). I feel so upset, not only because it was a waste of money, but it completely ruined my hair. I have extremely fine hair and not a lot of it. Now it’s nearly all gone. :( Olaplex is not for everyone!

Used this 3 times over the space of 3 months, gradually after each use my hair became dry and unmanageable :( after 6 months of using conditioning treatments and leave in treatments from another company it's only just starting to become manageable again. I have hair down to the bottom of my back and I'm going too have to get a good wack cut off. Still really upset with it all, iv never had a problem with my hair hence how iv managed to grow it so long

I did not have any problems with my hair. My hair dresser suggested olaplex 3 as a general treatment . I thought why not and tried it after 1 use my hair became so matted I really tried hard to comb through and really struggled. My hair started to shed really badly . I know this was the olaplex as I have never had any problems with my hair. I would not recommend to any one my hair has never been the same since, my biggest regret. You know the old saying if it ain’t broke. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, wish I had read all the reviews before trying. I have read of others who suffered the same thing we can’t all be wrong. It was definitely the olaplex.

Used Olaplex purple shampoo! Left my normally healthy hair dry, brittle and unmanageable. Contacted Olaplex as I was so upset! Only to be told “buy a hair treatment”,to get condition back. Terrible customer service! Wouldn’t purchase again.

I bought this shampoo a couple months ago and found I had an unnatural amount of hairloss, where just touching my hair and washing it would come out from the root in clumps - not breakage. I now have half the amount of hair I used to have before realising it could be this product. I did not experience any itching or signs of being allergic while this was happening. I do not have any medical conditions, don't take medication and I am under no stress in home or work life. After alot of research on the internet, I found a large amount of forums with alot of poeple experiencing the same problem. After stopping using it and found the hair loss to be alot less!

I had part treatment when I went for a trim with no issue however 2 weeks later I went and had a full treatment only and within hours had a skin reaction..my hair became like straw and couldn't get a brush through it..... falling out and my body was full of spots and a rash... my hairdresser was shocked and has now had to cut majority of my hair off into a short pixie... I have mild eczema that can flare up at times so be warned if you have a skin condition.. this is nothing the salon did it was an issue with the product and my skin/body.. this product should have a skin test like you would do for highlights/colours...... Read reviews before you use this treatment.. it ruined my hair

It hasn’t made a huge difference to my hair but it has to my skin!! I started getting a red rash & spots on my face but couldn’t work out why, then I stopped using the product & it went away, I tried it again and straight away the same thing happened. Not ideal for anyone with sensitive skin!

I'm a Salon Professional 20+ years I waited to try the products until now to make sure they were still around Figuring they must be Great as more and more Suppliers are carrying them.. Started out Amazing... until I started getting Scalp Burns / Psoriasis like and increased shedding Luckily I caught this quickly as I was about to Stock and Sell to Clients... I truly believe if continued It could be clumps falling out...I watched all the Education .. saying Vegan Gluten Free absolutely nothing Harmful...I was told upon returning it's not to be used daily ..that is not True for Shampoo and Conditioner per the Company... Scary Stuff I Absolutely Do NOT recommend!
