I ordered a laptop via their online sale and the order was confirmed. The laptop was scheduled to arrive in two days. After several phone calls and hours with customer service, I was informed that a credit was issued and the laptop was returned to Office Depot. It was a gift for my daughter’s birthday yesterday. Of course they don’t care. I, nor my company will ever purchase from them again.

Bought a laptop on their website that all it did for 3 days was update windows. Returned it to the local store where the Assistant Store Manager was annoyed I didn't "send it back". He took it out of the box, looked at it, and then slammed it back into the box on the counter. He handed me a receipt with the refund, but never said a word. Not thanks, sorry, the amount of the refund, NOTHING. Just ripped it off the register and handed it to me. As if it was my fault the laptop didn't work. But HERE'S THE CLINCHER!!. Not knowing this, Office Depot emailed me for a review on the laptop, but after I gave the unit a bad review and told them about the awful customer service, THEY REFUSED TO PRINT IT!!!

Absolutely worst customer service and I feel sure they are using a bait and switch tactic with the technology items, especially computers. I placed an order for a particular product, only to be told a week later that it was discontinued. I went back on line and there was the same product still on the website for sale. Tried talking to someone through chat support and I don't even think they knew English, so I asked for a supervisor. Suddenly, the item was "back in stock", but the person taking my order wouldn't let me use my credit card. I'm still shaking my head in disbelief. I printed the entire chat session out. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

I received a defective product from Office Depot, first call to them was perfect. Customer service ordered replacement for me and told me they'd come back to pick it up. They sent me an email confirmation letting me know which date they would come, I took a day off, but no one showed. The replacement came but driver did not want to take away the defective item. 2nd call to them, they apologized to me again, told me the same thing, received yet another confirmation email for picking up. You guessed, no one showed again. This went on a few times, lingered for more than a month; took a day off every time I received an confirmation email that someone would be here. I even called Office Depot when I received their last email confirmation for coming to get it, I explained what had happened in the past and I didn't want to take another day off if they couldn't give me a firm 'yes' that someone would definitely show up. After that also failed, I finally asked for a manager to and nope, 'she is off today, but will give you a call. We've already escalated the issue...etc', I never received a call from anyone! It wasn't until I threatened to dispute the charge on my credit card then they started to respond. Well, someone finally came to pick the defective item up, it's been almost 20 days....and I have yet received any follow up from Office Depot and still have not seen it being credited back to my credit card. I will not use their online order service again!

Since I do not have a land line I went to the Office Depot near my home to send a fax. The item being faxed was a birth certificate. The complimentary fax cover sheet they provide asks for the recipient's fax number AND phone number. After it went through and I paid, I looked down at the sheet having the transmission information and noticed that the clerk had mixed the two numbers. I notified her immediately and she re-sent it to the correct number. HOWEVER someone got a fax with a birth certificate, I have no way to determine who. This is a classic recipe for ID FRAUD. And I paid them Office Depot to do this. If any identity fraud results from this, Office Depot will be hearing from a lawyer.

I bought a brother lazer printer and was told the particular model came with 2 years of toner. I asked "are you sure because the card says you have to order that" he said absolutely sure. Well just 100 pages later i run out of toner. I was TICKED! I went to the store only to be told he no longer works there and I am the 5th person to say that. Then they tell me there is nothing they can do about it. So uneducated employees and crap customer service! Office Depot will not get another penny from me!

Workers very unprofessional,4 persons working in the store I had to wait an hour before someone told me I can’t be served.more than 8 person came after me and they got their service.this took place in Panama City beach Florida

Around March 23, 2018 I bought a box of paper from OFFICE DEPOT. They offered a $25 rebate. I asked the clerk specifically if I had to use the rebate at any OFFICE DEPOT / MAX stores and he said "NO" and that I could use it at ANY store or just cash it. Well today is May 2 and I STILL do not have the rebate so I chatted with them and they said i should have it in 10 days BUT that I would have to use it at their stores ONLY!! Again that is not what I was told originally! I run a very successful mail order business for the last 44 years and if I operated like this I wouldn't be in business. So please BEWARE of this store and DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
